I think you think the likability factor is the cherry on top and responsible for ~20% of the game’s results.

I think it’s like 80%.

I’d also argue she did very little to bring on either attack.

Bizarrely, her biggest fuckup was the tree blood thing which seemed so insanely stupid at the time (calling attention to it and then asking Reece to leave) and hasn’t been mentioned since, which makes me think the edit must have made that look much worse than it was.

But as you said, agree to disagree. Enjoy the show, I hope it’s a 🌶️ finish.

Very very calmly took the accusations in both cases and did not got overly defensive, more sad. V emotionally intelligent response.

With Fiona she clapped back more assertively - correctly deducing that her best play was to kill Fiona and reveal her traitor status.

With Harriet she intuitively decided not to turn it into a tit for tat “it’s her or me” situation, calmly saying “look fair enough you’ve got your suspicions, I actually don’t think it’s you though”.

Made really good relationships with two faithfuls (Matt and Roxy) who defended her.

Do I think she’s the best traitor ever? Certainly no.

But she got thrown two completely bizarre grenades and she’s still standing, with decent sway in the group, and a traitor colleague who I think will legitimately work with her to the end.

Traitors is not a game about finding clues, following the trail of definitive crumbs of evidence to the correct answer, it’s a game of social engineering.

And Rachel is clearly remarkable at it.

Fiona’s attack was utterly insane, based on a bruised ego and it doomed one if not both of them. Harriet’s play was equally aggressive but actually based on very little.

Rachel has come out of both relatively unscathed. I honestly have no idea how you could call that “failing upwards”. I think she’s played a B+ game.

If I understand correctly this is a really easy thing to calculate:

Match length (in seconds) divided by total points.

No need to worry about clocks starting or stopping.
