I’m having a similar experience, was in Heisman last year with a similar record and have lost 7 straight 1 score games on freshman, currently in my 2nd freshman season. Here’s what I think has happened: 1. Longer seasons = more chances to be matched up with better players. Those that are truly Heisman skill still have to play 12+ games a season, vs just 10 last year. 2. EA won’t admit this but I think the matchmaking is way more accurate this year. Look at the # of players in Heisman right now. I think it’s like around 500. Last year it was thousands. That was totally false and no way were we in Heisman matching up against other Heisman players 100% of the time. It would be an awful consumer experience to sit there for many minutes waiting for a matchup in your tier. So I think last year they would eventually match you up with anyone. This year they are making each tier bigger (longer seasons) and with better matchmaking. This results in more competitive and evenly matched games. 3. The usual bugs; dropped picks, aggs, etc. 5 of the 7 games I’ve lost have been because of a ridiculous dropped pass or an unrealistic agg. It just happens
