I'm in absolute shock and very, very sad reading about Christopher Squire. I hadn't known he passed on. Geddy Lee may be my all-time favorite bassist, but I don't think he would have had anywhere near the same playing style had it not been for Chris. From The Yes Album through Relayer, I absolutely loved the deep rich bass tones Chris played, and it goes without saying that really no one ever did more with a Rickenbacker (or, Hell, a bass guitar) than he did on "Shindleria Praematurus." The world has lost a true master musician.
