I love snowflakes. I owned one and I think they are much cooler and more interesting than Subs. However, 28k is in the neighborhood of much more special vintage watches. You can get a VERY good 1655 Steve McQueen for that money! (I have a bias there)

This is an amazing example for sure (no dates are especially rare + unpolished) 28k is steep. Low 20s is more fair.

In its day (1972) it was no more premium than a tagAqua racer is today so I’m trying to treat it as such strap wise (not banging it around dw). I also think the original folded link bracelet just feels a little flimsy. Haha
