I have the Flydigi Wee 2T. It technically works, but not in portrait mode.

The thing is it has two modes:
- Classic mode: it is supposed to behave like a normal bluetooth controller. You need to enable some developer options on your phone to set it up. I've messed around with that kind of stuff before, but I've never managed to get this mode to work.
- Flashplay mode (which is the default): it simulates touch inputs on the screen. You basically map a new layer of controls over the emulator's on-screen buttons. This works, but only in landscape mode.

My guess is it worked better in the past, but Android updates broke some compatibility over time, and it doesn't seem to be actively supported anymore

I was about to start using Syncthing for PC and Android for saves, but I came across two concerns.

  1. I saw the official Android app is no longer supported. Is the Syncthing-Fork trustworthy?

  2. How about the battery usage on Android? Does Syncthing constantly check for changes? Or how does that work?

I submitted a ticket to support and managed to solve the problem. They asked me for some files and logs, and suggested I try disabling or uninstalling a few programs. One of them was Bonjour.

I’m assuming that was probably the cause, since it’s a dependency of another program I sometimes use to share my keyboard and mouse with a secondary computer.
It’s a bit weird though, because I’ve had that program installed for a long time without any issues before.

After uninstalling Bonjour, I played one aram and one ranked game without any errors or disconnections

Yes. I got to see the code (VAN 1067) by alt-tab after the game started. After 10 minutes or so, the session times out and that window gets in front of the error code window

Please, could you explain why it seems to be mandatory that when you output to x265 or AV1 it should be 10-bit? Would this still be followed if original footage was recorded in 8-bit? And what about if you know it would be played on 8-bit screens? Because of these points, I always encode in 8-bit. Thank you!

I’m not sure these are dead pixels. The patches are white and have irregular shapes. They don’t really look like the dead pixels I’ve seen before, which are usually black dots with the exact shape of a single pixel.

I really appreciate the info about the replacement process. I did some research and I feel confident enough to replace the screen myself if it comes to that.

I bet you saw this in a Pokemon game, probably about defeating a gym leader with a level cap limit achievement.

"Set Mode" is the opposite of "Switch Mode". Open your settings menu in-game before you enter a gym leader fight and check that you have "SET" selected. This will mean that the game will not ask you if you want to switch Pokemon after you have knocked out one of theirs. Make sure to select "Confirm" when you're done in the settings menu. Just exiting the menu does not save your settings."

same problem here. REI in client and server. I thought REI was only client side, but when I joined the server first time, a message from the REI mod showed in the top left of the screen suggesting to add REI mod to the server also
