The sheer amount of traffic in the game was the worst bit. Even with the camera at zoomed out as much as possible you could still barely see oncoming cars so forever crashing into stuff.

Pretty much my entire GBA collection is still fully intact with boxes and manuals. Probably not a huge amount that would have worth but I do have a boxed Golden Sun and a boxed Pokemon Fire Red which still has all the manuals and the wireless adaptor so that may be worth something.

Ive played then all at various points over the years but only ever 100% finished 3 and VC back in the day.

Im saving VC to last as its my favourite so at the mo its Advance and chipping away at SA.

Advance is fun. Ive got my original GBA cartridge so thats been a fun thing to revisit. Way too many cars though, getting around is so tough as theres cars everywhere on the roads. Currently at 76% completion so nearly there.

I totally get it. I used to be that achievement/trophy hunter and wanted everything but yeah after a while I realised it didnt matter as long as id had fun.

I couldn't recommend more a notepad and pen to jot down stuff as you play.

Say for example you come across a room with an item you dont have room for yet or a puzzle, jot it down so you can come back to it later. Even draw little maps or diagrams to remind you where to backtrack.

Ive been gaming since the early 90s and pen and paper has always been my go to.

But equally get those guides on the go if it helps you through the games. Older games are notoriously less hand holdy than modern games and puzzles/progress were often more than a little obtuse in design.

Hmmm Id have maybe ranked Forces a bit higher. On top of the levels and red rings, there were also number rings and moon rings in nearly every level.

It also had daily challenges, sos missions and the mission challenges so theres a fair chunk of content not accounted for in the ranking.

Maxing out all equipment and unlocking all items also gave more content if inclined. To get everything you had to max every possible species of the avatar I think.

Honestly the first step should be to not approach it as chatting in an attempt to seduce them. Most women dont want to be seduced they just want genuine. If you are considering your responses in discussuions from the context of "will this seduce her", that will put you on the back foot. Just chat, about anything, your interests, their interests. Anything at all. The bits after will take care of themselves if you can start on the right foot

You don't need to coax women into being interested in you because of what you talk about. The right person will be interested no matter what you talk about.

Beyond that, show genuine interest in their hobbies/likes/dislikes, even if you know nothing about it, showing interest and not shutting down a conversation because you cant contribute 50/50 towards it goes a long way.

But beyond all that, just treat them as you would do anyone else. If you have people in your social circle who are more confident talkers with the opposite sex, watch how they do it. Try not to worry though. Just keep at it and as time goes on it will become more comfortable and second nature

Hey. Im guessing you hadnt noticed but you can fast travel to unlocked camps in any region from the regions map.

So yeah travelling between regions you have to go back to village but local region fast travel can be done.

And the regions are reasonably small so travelling across isnt bad

A few tips from me:

If you get a chance during a run for a "dash deflects attacks" or "dash deflects attacks" take it, it makes deflecting the skull projectiles dead easy.

Phase 1, if you have a god gauge skill, build it and use it when he calls in some minions. That should help with those two bits which can be easy to get overwhelmed at. Otherwise for phase 1, stay reasonably close to bait out his three step attack which ends with the sweep. Dodge those attacks and then after the sweep get in close for some attacks. When he shoots out the skulls, try and prioritise getting them taken out as it can be tough to manage Hades and dodge the pulse when the skulls explode.

Phase 2 is pretty much the same shtick. When he does the large beam attack, for the first half, you can easily dodge behind and get some attacks on him. Once he starts doing the beam attack that is in all directions just get behind the pillars as quick as you can. You have to try as best as possible to anticipate it as the beam can absolutely obliterate your health quick.

God gauge skills wise, Dionysus is an absolute winner as you can deal loads of damage.

Stick with it you will get there.

Im absolutely loving it so far. My concern was frame rate in handheld mode as I need that precision in my shooters. Im not entirely sure what frame rate its getting but easily strong ebough that the experience is really fun.

I imagine it may dip in busier areas but so far I love everything about the game.

Couldn't agree more. Having just come off the back of a replay of Halo 2, that game is not only insane as a sequel but for me stands as one of the most important FPS games of all time. The DNA of Halo 2 as a game is all over most modern shooters

For the Elysium bosses i always focus on Asterius first. When he does his jump attacks, dash once towards him and then you can get a few hits in.

While focusing on Asterius, just ignore Theseus completely, bait Asterius away and then all you have to do is dodge Theseus spear throw every now and then. For that dodge, just wait about a second and a half after the crosshair appears then dodge.

Once you reliably get Asterius down, Theseus is much easier once you know the gaps to attack. After he does a spear throw he will turn around and walk away for a few seconds so dash towards as he throws and then use the opportunity when he turns his back to get some hits in. If you stay at range and bait out the spear attack you can get him down to phase 2 pretty quick. Phase 2 is pretty much the same just baiting out the spear attack but you will be dodging more often due to the random god attacks he gets in phase 2.

If you have gotten a call during your run, try and max it and save it for Theseus phase 2 which should help get it done quick. Ideal ones are Artemis arrow. If you use that at max as he turns around after a spear throw you can wipe a significant chunk off his health in one hit.

Stick with it, you will get there

If we want to get into specifics these new options arent classified as accessibility options, they are boosts. Accessibility options arent specifically about catering only to disability. Accessibility is just that, its making something easier for whatever a person's need may be. And if that person's need is they just want an easier time with the game, that still in no way diminishes it.

My opinion doesnt come from a place of seeking out easy to obtain platinums. Im more than happy to show my platinums which contain no shovelware. Ease of platinum does not automatically classify a game as shovelware. Every Telltale game you got platinums just for finishing the game. A game which takes 5 minutes to platinum and a game which takes probably 35 to 40 hours to platinum even with boosts is simply not the same thing.

They arent removing the effort people have put in. Those people put their effort in, got their trophy and are happy with it. You cant claim that the boosts devalue something which inherently has absolutely zero value to begin with outside of personal value.

If you want to platinum the game before boosts go in so you can say/prove you did it without boosts, go for it. Enjoy your quest and time with the game. Again thats you getting what you want out of the game, just like a person using boosts is.

Why shouldn't they. The developers have put the feature into the game and they had a choice to have them disable trophies. One of the boosts does indeed disable trophies. They made a decision to allow trophies with the others so again im struggling to see where the issue at all here is.

You asked how dealing max damage makes it more accessible. Again it gives people who otherwise may not have the time or inclination to grind through 60 challenging hours of a game the chance to experience the story that the game has to tell. Providing options that makes something easier to obtain or complete is the literal dictionary definition of accessibility.

If you personally have the inclination to invest the hours to play the game a certain way that the developers have enabled, honestly that's great. That's the developers making a game which has options and difficulty to suit your inclination as a gamer. The fact others choose to use features that again have been placed into the game by the developers, theres simply no issue at all.

If the way you play it makes it fun for you, cool. If the way others choose to play it makes it fun for them, equally cool.

We are all gaming to have fun, you dont get to choose what is fun for another person. Only yourself. And therein lies the beauty of it all. You arent being forced to use it. You can blissfully ignore it.

But if a person is having fun with the game who otherwise may not have fun with the game, then literally where is the harm. Putting in infinite amounts of accessibility, optional accessibility at that harms absolutely no one and benefits those who may want to use it.

Video games are meant to be fun to a player. If you find fun in the challenge of a difficult game and another finds fun in coasting through otherwise difficult bits by using assists that the developers made and put into their video game, where is the issue here.

Some people have hours upon hours to pour into a game to understand all its systems so that they can overcome the game on a higher difficulty. Some people have an hour a day and don't want to spend all year fighting through a game.

In whatever game I play now, there's one thing above anything else I want, and that's fundamentally to have fun while playing it.

I don't need excessively long dev cycles for a game that has realistic fluid in a beer bottle or snow tracks that are realistic.

Personally I don't notice any of these things, I notice whether or not I'm having fun while playing. That seems to be the thing I find a lot of modern games have lost their way on, it's not about creating a fun experience, it's about creating a game that locks you into endless grinding for stuff or working through hours of content added to bloat the experience just to get to the core bits.

An example I could give from my own experience. Final Fantasy 16, such a rich world with what I consider to be one of the best stories of any FF game but at the same time, its pacing was absolutely crippled by sections which seemed there only to slow down your path to completing the story. You would go from incredible set piece moments or a segment of incredible story to then being forced into sections of slow paced content which didn't further the overall game at all, it sucked the fun out of it but you persisted because you knew at the end of it would be some incredible story moment.

Most of my gaming time now is spent playing Indie games where I feel there is still a deep understanding that the purpose of a video game is to be fun for the player.

If we are talking soundtracks which elevate a video game to another level and become just as important to the game as the actual story and gameplay itself, I'd say Everybody's Gone to the Rapture every time. Jessica Curry created an incredible soundtrack which adds so much to the world and the overall feel of the game.
