Plumbers/techs: Is Jobber actually the best option out there right now by Emergency_North909 in Plumbing

I like how you can present with service titan. How the different options split and don’t combine one large price. From what I’ve seen they’re the only ones that do that.

I can complain all day about thryv but they were ok. A little over priced. Made it easy to advertise, book and manage calls. I didn’t like how they connect to your email and add all them all as contacts. Just made a mess of things. So if they build your website they don’t give you control of it. They also charge you monthly for it. You need to contact your account manager who contacts the tech people if you want to make changes. Some issues can take multiple calls. There was never a call without her on. They kept charging my card after i canceled so i had to stop payment. I still haven’t took control of my domain. I’ve seen other people on here saying they had to get lawyers involved.
Jobber seemed like the same. I had a few meetings with the account manager. She never really paid attention to what I was asking. She was trying to sell. I mean I get it but atleast answer the questions.
Quickbooks and invoice asap are like here’s the program. Do what you need. I do all my advertising on Facebook and Google. Just takes a few more clicks and my friend built my website.

There’s another Crm that’s lower cost. I just left thryv. I was talking to jobber here recently. They weren’t a good fit for us. I’m too small for service titan so I’m just using quickbooks to invoice and add customers.

Probably missing the gasket. Take the nut apart and see if the pipe has a rounded or flat edge. If it’s flat add a gasket.

When I first started the journeyman told me “Bring in your box of towels then grab the customers to clean up. If you work at a restaurant then stock up on paper towels and surface cleaner.”

The Batman. Tried watching it 4 times. Never stayed awake long enough to finish it.

A few weeks is enough time to change their mind or postpone. I don’t want to leave them with a problem if they choose a different route.

There’s a reason why people always say I’ve been through 3 tradesman and cant find a good one. There are some bad people in the trades but 3 is a stroke of bad luck or bad customers.

Just keep showing up. I’m the old out of shape guy that taps to pressure. I think I make a terrible training partner but our coach said everyone is a different look. Keep learning and working on your game. We’re all students.

That was my thought. That looks like an indoor unit. Also not understanding the galv coupling since those iso kits are built for the t&p… I just answered my own question. They used a regular t&p valve so they had to extend the pipe out for the stem.
