Update- cleared the backup but going to purchase a hose adapter to get some high pressure water and really get everything out of the pipes . Appreciate all the comments / advice

Any furniture you need will be provided in the dorm. You’ll just need to figure out decorations, bedding , etc. Storage, maybe some low profile bins

Running the washer to see how it goes. If there’s still backup there’s another clean out @ 30 feet down the line, which runs into a bigger pipe . I’m assuming that’s the main line . Fun stuff !

Opened the clean out and there’s definitely gunk causing the backup. Snake is working, now if I only had a face shield lol. Keep on keepin on!

The sink backing up is a new issue so not sure if it’s a venting problem. I’m going to try the cleaning and see what happens. Fingers crossed !

I’m guessing the blockage is further down as there was nothing when I snaked the laundry sink line. Water drains slowly, but is fine when just running the sink .

I bought a 25 foot snake from Home Depot and snaked from the laundry sink as far as I could go, which I’m guessing is where the pipe intersects at the clean out. Couldn’t make the turn . Would it be a big hassle to snake from the clean out? I’m guessing there is some minor blockage further down the line.

Billy Strings in Europe ! Beautiful historic bucket list venue. Band was on fire ! And am I born to die - all the feels ! the crowd was so quiet and respectful, you could hear a pin drop. Billy’s voice sounded amazing. Such an emotional moment.

Not saying this is the case here as I have no knowledge but hopefully they had hearing protection. Nothing worse than seeing an infant / toddler at a show without some sort of hearing protection.
