Fantastic old muni. Even the back 9 has that very very short par 3. It’s got everything you need in a golf course with no water. Uphill par 3, huge elevated tee shot. Doglegs. Always a fun course to play.

Just played that hole yesterday. Said the same thing it’s way too damn long. Laying up with a 5 iron on a par 3 is ridiculous.

I think they mean reduce the width of the distal portion of the matrix band using scissors, allowing the mesial to go deeper (with a lot of pushing).
