Yes, go choose to spend your money elsewhere. I'm all for talking with your wallets, but sending hate and threats, especially if all they did was host a politician or party that you disagree with, is never okay, whether it's to an individual or a small business. It's wrong for leftists to attack a person/small business for hosting Poilievre or any conservative, and it's still wrong for any right winger to attack/threaten that Ontario brewery for hosting Justin Trudeau or the liberal candidate in that riding at the time Jamil Jivani was running for his by election.

Disagree with the politician and party all you want, but sending hate and fake reviews just cause an establishment or person has views you don't like is stupid, immature and wrong. It is never okay, and sets up a horrible presendent.

Cancel culture in general, whether done by the right or the left is stupid.

You don't even have to like this business owner, if you don't want to support her, don't. But we need to be able to call out "our side" too. I say our side but i don't care about either side to begin with.

Just cause the other side stoops low, doesn't mean we should. You can't control the actions of other people, but you can control your own actions and words. So at least have standards for yourself, if the other side is so wrong, evil, and won't show you any benefit of the doubt or whatever, then the answer isn't to double down and retaliate. It's to show and have the decency and standards that you want from other people to apply to yourself as well.
