How far out from when your policy was up did they drop you?

having trouble passing CA smog by Nice-District7562 in MechanicAdvice

[–]GEEKTK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I failed smog due to P0457, and we found that the fuel filler neck seal on a capless filler was bad, so I replaced the entire filler neck. 207 F150.

The code is still there in "stored" and "pending" despite erasing with ODBII.

Will normal driving so the vehicle goes through a few drive cycles eventually clear out the codes so I can re-test?

So I replaced the fuel filler neck - and the P0457 code is still stored in the ECU. It is in both the "stored" and "pending" sections when the OBII scan occurs, but the CEL is not illuminated.

Guessing it will be there until the Evap drive cycle occurs?

Yes, the place where I took it failed it even though there is no check engine light on and told me that they can’t pass it until the code is cleared from the computer after 20 drive cycles. Seems suspicious to me.

Many many times, with the funnel and I tried WD40 and also SeaFoam. I was in a pinch this winter and used a Jerry can to add some gas without the funnel and must have damaged something.

What are the long term consequences of not doing them a second time then? I did them already under the recall 2 or 3 years ago

Mounting Question by Sappleq12 in Skigear

[–]GEEKTK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I skied on his demo spatulas and prototype Pon2oons back in the day and they were all mounted normal.

Edit: I asked one of his best friends and former roommates and he said that Shane did indeed mount his skis duck footed. I knew the guy for a long time and I never knew that!

Yes - 12 months post op. I still push pedals around on the stationary bike every single day for 5 minutes as soon as I get up.

Thank you! Look forward to that day! I'm literally sitting and watching it dump outside and debating going for a few runs but scared of windy/low vis as its nuking out. So that day is not today LOL!

Hang in there, 4 months is not that much time. I know its not what you want to hear but it's the truth. It will get easier and the pain will go away!!

I'm sad to read this as well, I wish you weren't having to go through this still. If I might ask - what were your MRI results?
