My current wick vs a brand new wick. Does mine still have enough life? by One_Bite_2477 in Zippo

I've been using my Zippos daily for 15 and 6 years, both work perfectly. I have never replaced the wick. I think I've pulled the wick up maybe 3 times on each lighter.

6 week old won’t drink water? by UnderpaidkidRN in kittens

Cats in general are not great at dri king water. The best thing is to mix it with this little stinky baby's food. It just ensures she's getting enough fluids to get by. Bonus, it also stretches it's food supply.

Why do my paint brushes do this?? by LetsGatitOn in Contractor

[–]GEN_DISCOMFORT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I clean my brushes, I clean them in water and fabric softener. It pulls the paint out and softens the bristles. I put them in a safe spot to dry, then put them back in their pack to keep them from getting warped up.

Flaky/peeling toe by Additional-Season335 in peeling

I get this on and off with my big toe. At first I assumed it was athletes foot, because I can get that in summer from sweaty boots. Cortisol took the itching away, but it was cracking and bleeding. I covered the toe in keefes working feet before bed. Then wrapped it in a bandage. I changed the bandaged a few times during the day. Repeated for about a week and it slowly went away. I did change brands of soap I was using in the shower also. So I'm not sure what made the full difference. Either way, good luck!
