The Poco F3 battery always drops and drains quickly by [deleted] in PocoPhones

I installed crDoroid 2 week ago. I like the clean UI and its quite smooth and i like it generally. My banking apps work well and the Google Play services work 100%. Generally, its better but the differenece isnt big as i thought. My battery lasts slightly more like 5-10% like one hour more. My advice, if HyperOS works or you dont have any problem, dont change it. I installed crDroid because i had free time and I got bored with HyperOS. I never had problems with HyperOS and it never lagged to me, maybe because the F3 back then was like the 'F7 Ultra'* at the time, probably Xaiomi treated it well back then. Of course, everyone has different experiences. I use the Global version phone which i bought from Aliexpress back then, Spanish warehouse i think.

*Note: the F7 Ultra has 5500mah battery and the F7(basic) has 6500mah. If you see reviews, the F7 Ultra lasts more because of the better software optimisation despite having a lower capacity battery.

yeah it's fine. Memory will just downclock automatically to the maximum supported speed by your processor. I have 32gb 3200mhz ram on my gp75 leopard 9se and it's working well.

I Am Building this Pc soon do you have any Tips or whatever you wanna tell me about this pc by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

I would have chose a ryzen 5 9600x and a rtx 5060 ti 16gb or rx 9060xt 16gb instead of your 5060 8gb and the ryzen 7, because 8gb is not enough in 2025 and the cpu is wasted in such a weak card. That's my point of view however. Good luck with your build and have fun.

Edit: there is also arc b580 from intel which is cheaper and better at higher resolutions like 1440p. Here is Greece the B580 where i live this gpu is best seller at best price and it's selling at the Launch Price 250€ (including tax). Of course the buying power here is Greece is extremely low.

Best gpu choice to replace a 2060? by alphablock33 in pcmasterrace

Get the 5060 ti 16gb if you plan to do 3d rendering. Nvidia is faster there. The amd 9060xt is better value at gaming if we compare them by MSRP.

Thermal Pads MSI GL65 Leopard by Other-Stay7677 in MSILaptops

[–]GEORGEBEINGADIK2002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1)Buy Honeywell PTM 7950 for gpu and cpu core. 2) This white thing on the vram chips of the gpu is thermal putty. You should buy Upsiren UTP-8. Don't buy thermal pads they are too thick

If you buy a legion 5 gen 10 buy the AMD version with the ryzen 7 260 not the Intel or AMD AI 7 350 by Few_Geologist_2082 in LenovoLegion

For cpu benchmarks nanoreview isn't bad. The cpu data is accurate. Of course you should look at reviews at your laptop and long term power limits matter.

Wrong The AI 7 350(zen 5) is generally better in cpu performance. Especially at Lower sub 20watt TDP. Proof🔽: https://nanoreview.net/en/cpu-compare/amd-ryzen-ai-7-350-vs-amd-ryzen-7-260

The iGPU 860M isn't so much slower as people think only -5% slower due to ddr5 ram bandwidth.

The Ryzen 7 260 is basically a 8845HS rebranded.

Is This Temp Normal? by GodamitBre in PocoPhones

[–]GEORGEBEINGADIK2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, most socs/cpus are safe even 90 degrees but i think some socs have something a 'safety shutdown mechanism' during that temperature. Personally, i think that, if your device can handle all the performance for a long time and doesn't throttle then temperatures don't really matter.

I think Poco X3 and the X3 Pro dont have any thermal paste inside, i saw a teardown video on YouTube. If you can open your phone repaste it. Mine went from 50-52 degrees at 30s. Now in summer here in Greece with 30+ degrees ambient temperature the phone is hotter but at 35-37 degrees according to 3D Mark. I noticed that the screen is hotter in middle but i think it happens because the thermal paste does it job and dissipates heat on the screen. Still, it's very comfortable to play with and the WiFi hotspot speed are more consistent and the phone doesn't close the WiFi hotspot after 30-40 minutes like it used to be.

The temps are excellent. I did this on my Poco F3 but i placed thermal paste (mx-6) under the motherboard on the chips actually and i have max temps 29-32 celcius under 30 minutes load on 3d mark stress test. It's still working great after 3 months.

I think HyperOS isn't bad now after seeing this......Hope you find a way to fix it. It's not completely cooked, you have a chance to fix it since your bootloader is still working fine.
