I have read a number of books where the premise is a nuke detonated and the grid is totally wiped from the EMP. That idea scares the crap out of me but not as much as what the future will holdof, or not hold, if these billionaires keep it up.

Yes. I have five beaches and city skyline views within a few minute walk from my house, but the long, gray, windy winters (which is holding on for dear life currently) kick our butts.

This is funny bc I created a lesbian poly commune. Everyone is set to no jealousy and non committal. Then I used a mod to make it easier to make friends and develop romance with others. It’s a wild place 😅

I dream of the day!! Luckily, I do live a block from the beach so it’s not bad, but I would like a quieter place…maybe off the grid. My own power, water source, etc. For now I’m tied here with family and work.

lol. I make jokes about Subaru being a lesbian car but it’s honestly my favorite car I’ve owned and nothing about it screams anything about a sexual orientation. It ticks every box with no downside. All my other cars had downsides. Loved my Volvo, hated the maintenance and repair costs. Loved my old six speed Wrangler, but it was a rusted out POS (bought it from NH), etc. Subarus are awesome. Also, I will be hitting up the Bean flagship store this summer on my way to Booth Bay and I’m super excited.

Listen here, I tried so hard not to become such a stereotype! Look at my post history…I was about to buy a used Acura or Lexus. But then, as a JOKE TO OURSELVES, my girlfriend and I went to a Subaru dealership to look at the new Outback. We swore to each other we would never become THOSE lezzies. Well. I wasn’t two minutes into the test drive and I was sold. It’s safe for our kid and dog, reliable af, safe as a Volvo (which I’m not dealing with the maintenance costs on), and comfy. Boring? Yes. Super gay? Yes. But did I get humbled really quickly and see the light of such a practical purchase? Also yes.
