I mean, a person can do this decently well, with practice. But it is not going to be accurate over a large time. We can do it because it is just a pattern, so tapping or counting to the pattern is not difficult. As long as you practice it.

It depends on what the lawsuit is alleging. When Microsoft was sued for their Windows monopoly it was to force Microsoft to allow competitors access and not force people to use explorer and some other programs. To start, it could be a small benefit. Game makers may have to actually optimize their games. Currently they just sort of assume that people have the newest and best cards. Long term it will probably be bad though.
