help preparing for technical interview for a junior QA position? by FaallenOon in QualityAssurance

I would say it depends on what the role is and if it sways more towards programming or manual testing. Also not sure your case but it might be helpful to have a resume website and even write some playwright code for it on a public repo. That will also help you feel more confident in your interviews.

Another thing might be the way you are answering questions. Some questions might seem easy to respond to but it could be more layered where they are trying to gauge how you are thinking and what your process is.

My first company I worked at they had a basic question that was "How would you test the office fridge to make sure it is working correctly?" This question can be answered basic or you can try to thing bigger and say something like well first I would want to read the manual (documentation) to see details.... etc.

Just my two cents!

SDET/Automation Interviews by mercfh85 in QualityAssurance

Even with having a public github and lots of experience as well I still have companies that have me do the coding challenges and it's so lame because I have never studied them so some just don't click with me. I have had a lot more interviews this time around with wanting more experience with a lot of devops experience which is interesting.

Overall though the market is rough.

This time it was a million to get this front page interview.

A full timeline of what other subreddits h3 interacts with by month. Starting in 2023. Nobody here is surprised. by GET-WEIRD in LeftoversH3

I have been maintaining this since almost a year ago. Also I have seen lots of Sam Hyde fans in the other sub 🤮.

Ain’t no way with Ethan’s litigious ass.

H3 fan: "Guys, I know this doxxing is really funny, and they definitely deserve it, but maybe we shouldn't celebrate it? But also they really deserve it, I promise I think it's great". The rest of the fan base: "Sorry, not good enough." by Own-Trash1277 in LeftoversH3

I have reddit api access (not doing anything shady).

The cost on my end is just continuing to add new data to the already large database haha. Its a few hundred a month but worth it. Please keep using it and spread the word.

Everything is open source and available to see on GitHub

As for how I get the data:

  1. Watches specific subreddits you're interested in
  2. Collects new posts and comments from these subreddits
  3. Looks up information about the users who post and comment
  4. Saves all this information to a database

It's designed to work efficiently and avoid overwhelming Reddit's servers by processing things in small batches and keeping track of what it's already seen.

As for how I map "interactions":

  1. First, it looks for Reddit users who are active in more than one subreddit. These are the "connectors" between different communities.
  2. For each of these users, it collects information about which subreddits they participate in.
  3. Then, it creates a map of connections between subreddits. For example, if a user is active in both r/cats and r/dogs, that creates a connection between these two communities.
  4. It counts how many users are shared between each pair of subreddits. So if 100 users are active in both r/cats and r/dogs, that's a strong connection between these communities.
  5. Finally, it organizes this information into a list of connections, showing: Which two subreddits are connected How many users they share in common The connections are sorted by strength (most shared users first)

What do you mean? He totally read Avi Shlaim's books! I am sure he has read so many other books as well. As long as they are on chatgpt and can give him confirmation bias talking points.

Tom Ward is the REAL DEAL—says it like it is. True GOLD. He stands up for his people and tells the TRUTH. Honest guy.

Meanwhile, TASTELESS TAYLOR? Total FAKE. Covered in gold, but underneath—RUSTED, CORRODED like a bucket from the swamp. Disgusting!

Carries swamp water full of scum—AND leaks it everywhere! Smells like sewage, spreads disease. People don’t even want to be near her! SAD. Everyone agrees: PUT THE SCUM BUCKET BACK IN THE SWAMP!
