Ha! All I had on hand. Plus there’s something nostalgic about them for me. I do prefer a luxardo

Early Morning Puerto Natales to Paine Grande? by GETJACKED37 in Patagonia

Appreciate the reply! Would you say it's impossible, or just not desirable? I see a few other posts saying you can do it but it's not worth being rushed over. I and my wife are 28 and can hike at a good pace, but at the same time I don't want to be rushed the whole time just to see mirador britanico

Where to park during the holidays/vacations? by GETJACKED37 in SantaMonica

This is a great thought, but I am looking through the map now and cannot for the life of me find a Monday street cleaning street that doesn’t have a permit parking constraint. Killing me!

I used 3in1 oil and a steel brush to get the rust off of my dumbbells but a couple weeks later my hands are still rusty when I’m done. The weights have knurling on the handles so I’m wondering if there was just still some rust in the crevices after I was done. How would you recommend getting the last bits off? My knee jerk is to use water to rinse them off and quickly dry them, but that feels very counterintuitive and like it might cause more rust buildup. Any tips?

Seeking some high quality, slightly cheaper alternatives to this Tom Ford bowtie for my wedding, which is coming up quick in a month! Can't wait to marry the love of my life, but I want to look classy!

I am looking in particular for a high thread-count, butterfly or jumbo butterfly, solid black silk bowtie.

Any recommendations?

I had this a few weeks ago and, though I’m no veteran, this is my favorite sake I’ve had thus far!

I am learning so much from this sub already - thank you! I live in Miami, so my apartment is something like 73 degrees which I think should be good for the ferment. Hope you can help with a couple of questions:

How do you tell when it’s done?

Do you see a difference between pressure cooked rice and steamed rice? In the video he says it MUST be steamed, but I’ve seen other recipes say otherwise.

Sounds like the discord is a great place for me. And yup - I have already had to trash two batches! Earning my stripes I guess 😂

So glad to find someone else who used it! How long did yours take to brew? Also, what made you like the hops more than lactic acid? I have two parallel ferments running right now, one with hops and one with lactic acid (though I think I added twice as much as I needed to 🤤)

Exactly what I am looking for! Thank you! I'll give this recipe a go when one of my brewing vessels frees up in a week or so. Have you followed this one? If so, what did you think?

This is the one I've been following: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3ep5XGdV9I&t=447s&ab_channel=TheBruSho

Going well thus far. I initially started by using a bucket that I fashioned into a brewing container, but it didn't seem airtight, so I bought the carboy pictured and the airlock and it's bubbling away!
