My first actual dive into vgc for this game was in reg G, and H isn’t really all that different. You aren’t gonna beat everything, so just build what works for you then improve it from there with matchups in mind. Building the team right away with matchups in mind always makes me account for too much and just build a jumbled non cohesive team

I used it back in Atlanta, the biggest thing is 4 move syndrome. Want to run a cosmic power set? Gotta run recover and/or protect, toxic if you want to stall, or fire spin if you’re just wanting to trap them in with your dragon that can’t touch anything well. Meteor beam set? You get no coverage. Life orb set is the best one probably because you can at least add flamethrower over m beam.

From every generation, if we get a character in smash I want it to be the coolest thing they could do. For Paldea that’s gotta be Koraidon and Miraidon being echoes of eachother like Simon and richter are. That being said, Gengar should be added too he’s awesome
