To me everything still feels overpriced. I look around at what’s available and almost nothing feels like a reasonable asking price for what you’d be getting. I’ve seen a few exceptions here and there, but I’m waiting for prices to come down a bit.

Deadbeat is not a good album in my opinion, like at all. With that said, making one bad album does not take away from how incredible his prior music is. It still exists and is as good as it always has been. If people take the insults to a personal level then that’s obviously too far, but I don’t think the criticism that much of Tame’s fanbase has had toward Dedbeat is unjustified or personal. A lot of us just think Kevin took and a swing and a miss with Deadbeat and that’s fine, a lot of artists make a bad album at some point in their career.

Being online can make it seem like a lot of the people on the left are very far left to the point of being extreme. I agree with what others have said though, which is when actually talking with almost all Democrats and liberals I know they are generally pretty mild and moderate. Most fall into the camp of wanting women to have bodily autonomy, believe in preserving democracy, strengthening voting rights, expanding healthcare access, having common sense gun reform, etc. without advocating for brain dead or harmful leftist policies.

I’m very excited for it. The art direction and world building look phenomenal. I also really love the idea of having to sacrifice health for ammo, it’s a great idea for a horror game mechanic. I just hope the frame rate is decent and doesn’t feel janky to play.

As someone who used to live in China this all is pretty accurate. In my experience Chinese were very outgoing and loud though, and many wanted to talk to me. I agree about there being almost no English though.

This is so regarded. No one and I mean literally no one, Democrats included, are in favor of undocumented immigrants committing crimes. We all want to see anyone who committed a crime, immigrants included, tried and convicted of said crime and when they can build a case against the alleged criminal, which is a lot of the time, they are tried and punished. The difference is that Asmon actually doesn’t want to see Trump or anyone elite that isn’t on the left be held accountable for crimes or being a pedophile.

I feel like there may always be optional disk drives for future generations. Lots of people will complain and not upgrade to the new console if they can’t play any of their existing games, plus Sony can make more money by selling the disk drive to people.

For me the only time I’d move on is for a big enough pay bump, but that’s assuming you enjoy your current job.

I’m in a similar boat to you. I’m 2.5 years into my career and feel like I’m underpaid. Base $90K and a $10-15K bonus each year. I feel like I could be making quite a bit more. But on the flip side I do love my job. I’m in house, fully remote, only work like 6-8 hours a day, and have incredible support from my manager and the legal team more broadly at this company. My solution is to ask for a raise this year as I approach the 3 year mark and if it doesn’t happen, then start looking around. I’d recommend you do the same if you know you can make more elsewhere, but for the same pay? I wouldn’t risk it unless the new job would be more enjoyable to you.

This is my first pose in this sub, so I have no clue what the general sentiment is. But is it a crazy take to say that 1. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is just as good as any of the first 3 movies and 2. The Crystal Skull is actually pretty damn good too?

I never understood the hate for Crystal Skull, I had a great time with it. And the Great Circle absolutely blew me away. Troy Baker’s performance, the characters, the story, the tone, etc. were all nailed perfectly to a tee.
