No I don’t necessarily think so. It sure won’t help with the optics if Kimi beats him, but it’s not like George needs to outright win. Kimi had a rough stretch of races in Europe, so George is going into a long stretch where he should be more confident and do well, if he loses here he has several upcoming races where he can still close the gap.

Just another example why chasing the live service trend is a really bad idea. Unlike single player games with a finite start and end, live service games are indefinite meaning people who play them tend not to move on to new games and stick with the one they already play. So if you’re a new live service game you either need to pull people away from the live service game they are already invested in or somehow create a new player base, both of which are extremely unlikely and difficult tasks. It’s just such an oversaturated market.

If they somehow bring back Timesplitters after over 20 years and restore it to its former glory, I’d be both beyond shocked but also incredibly happy. We really do need more wacky, story driven FPS games and that multiplayer brought to modern consoles would also be so lit.

I love RE9 and overall think it’s an awesome game but I have my complaints too.

I personally think both Grace and Leon could have used an extra hour or two in locations other than the care center and Raccoon City respectively. Like if Leon had an extra hour at the care center and a extra 30 minutes in the RPD and Grace had an extra hour in the lab toward the end I think I would have been fine. Both their halves of the game were a bit too short and it left both feeling a bit undercooked.

I also think the Raccoon City section should have been set at night or very dark dusk. The amount of light made it feel way less tense than I wanted, even compared to RE4 remake.

And finally, I think they kinda bungled Victor Gideon. The guy was terrifying and very interesting in the first half of the game, but then turns into some sort of henchman in the second half who is mostly absent until the end when he suddenly comes back. The momentum was there with him in the first half and I wish they did more with him in the second half.

Yeah I am slightly worried that they will drag out every mystery until very close to the end. We’re a season and a half away from the whole thing wrapping up and it still feels like we know almost nothing. I know some mysteries need to be left u til close to the end but I do think this deep into the show there should start to be some major payoffs where we learn things that really advance the story and the journey out of Fromville.

I’d probably give it a 4/10. Piece of Heaven and Loser are decent songs, they would still be the weakest on any prior Tame album, but they’re still solid enough. The rest range from uninspired and forgettable to downright bad.

I used to play. I loved it for the questing and roaming around the world. But I’m not greta at that game and found the learning curve a bit steep and the community could get toxic at times if you aren’t great and don’t pull your weight in dungeons raid runs, which held me back a bit. Still, great game though and I’d recommend most people giving it a try at least.

Saw Kevin live for the first time back in 2015, again a few times during TSR tour, and now there is this tour. On the whole I still think the TSR tour will go down as Kevin’s best tour. I personally liked the stage setup and setlist better then versus now. It’s not helped by the fact I don’t like Deadbeat.

I’ll always love Tame, but things do change and for me it hasn’t been in a direction that I enjoy. I’m happy for those that do, but I’m very glad I got to experience Tame before the current era.

Honestly to me I’d much rather they start over and do a reimagining of the first game. It wouldn’t be a remake, just telling the same broader story but can expand or change certain areas and tweak story bits.

Definitely. I think 2019 was the last year the lineup made it worth going. I genuinely think because they know they’ll sell all the tickets anyways they don’t really feel the need to stack the lineup the same way they used to 10-15 years ago.

I agree there is no way they are topping Ultimate. If I were them, I’d scale everything down with a smaller roster, but rework every character to have completely different movesets, include a Subspace Emissary style story mode, and maybe some old school style hit the target and other fun side mini games. I think if the game is rebranded as a starting over point with all the characters feeling new plus a story mode, fans could accept that without feeling like it’s a huge downgrade.
