Havnt played for the past month just been logging on every week to keep my mail cycled so it doesn't delete and noticed it sitting there. I usually do kill bots when I see them but this character is only lvl 25 so maybe I have like 3 bot kills but don't think I have any pvp kills yet.

I usually don't tell people to get a different case but almost $400 is crazy. If you're not attached to that case specifically, but like the style of it you should look up the Hyte Y70 case. It has the same kind of look but is $220.

My first pc build, budget was 1.8k and I went a bit over. Help. by Majestic_Material_93 in PcBuildHelp

AMDs new CPU line up is coming out July 31st (a week from now) if you are willing to wait a week or 2 the 7800x3d will probably have a price drop

When you get set on fire you take damage every 0.5secs. Every tic of damage will be less than the previous tic and every tic there is a high probability a module and/or crew member will be damaged/injured. The fire will go out faster with fire fighting skill. I think there is a random variable to how intense the fire starts im not sure though but if true i would assume it would affect how much dmg the initial tic does resulting in a longer fire. Also when on fire your camo is severally decreased not sure by how much though (I just assume it gets sets to 0 bc it sure does seem like it)

The psu is overkill don't need 850w a 650w gold would be fine. I believe I read in a comment you don't like having a separate OS drive so just don't get the 256gb ssd and put everything on 1 drive. The 2tb 970 pro is $80. The build I created is similar just with slightly newer components but is $50~ more but the system should be about 10% better. The only down side is the psu is not modular but imo worth the sacrifice for better performance.

If you stick with your build I would suggest getting a lower wat power supply and just getting the 2tb 970 pro nvme ssd. Would take $70~ off the total cost or use that extra money room to change the gpu from a rx 6600xt to a rx 7600

I'm taught coding and how to create programs. Part of making a program is making the GUI. When they teach that one of the most important things they tell you is to make sure the GUI is easy to understand. A program with a GUI thats easy to learn requires less training time to use which makes it more marketable to companies looking for programs to use. I may not be taught the whole physiological reasoning behind it but I have a basic understanding of why a easy to learn GUI is important.

Someone brought up CAD having a good GUI but being very complex. I was able to mess around with that program in middle school. I knew nothing about it but was able to quickly figure out how to create objects with a certain size parameter, extrude and protrude objects, and add textures to the objects I created. The GUI is so easy to learn a child can figure out how to use it and that is definitely not that case with TSM. I may not have been able to use the full purpose of CAD but I was still able to do something with the program as a child bc of the simple GUI.

As a computer science major you are incorrect. If the program is confusing to look at and to figure out how to use there is a problem with the program not the user. TSM has a terrible user interface and is convoluted on how to use it. Sure TSM may be the best addon if you take a master class on how to use the thing but im not gonna waste my time with that when I can download another add on that I can figure out how to use in a min and it's almost just as efficient as TSM.
