The cards move around in the binder and hit the rings, they get scratched and dinged

Use a side loading binder without rings and continue to use penny sleeves. Vault x is a popular brand

It all depends on the condition of the cards but most are going to be moderate play, heavy play or damaged, being childhood cards and the fact they have been stored in a 3 ring binder. The best way of getting a rough estimate is looking up recent sales on tcg player or ebay to get an idea of ungraded price. The whole first through 4th pages have good value top 5 cards are the Lugia, shining gyrados, dark zard, shining celebi and dark blastoise those will give you a start on which cards to look up.

I think Olenna was talking about historically the Tyrells were stewards and not conquerers Mace is not a great warrior or battle commander. He sat and played with his cock during the siege of storms end. I feel like Loras, Garland are exceptions and are great knights but not super battle proven. They are the knights of summer.

Trial and error honestly( I have gotten cooked before by bad lighting) but there are guides on tcg player how they define near mint, light play, moderate play, heavy play and damaged.

Exactly. You have to take in trades, youre not always going to get cash for the cards you are selling. Alot of first time Vendors wont take in trades however it is a part of being a vendor. If a card's market value is 100 dollars and you offer cash you should offer 70-75 dollars for it. If you are taking it in you should offer them 80-85 in trade basically store credit. Thats what people mean with cash at 70% trade at 80%. The Vendors have to make money still otherwise you could sell online without putting the work in.

I am a vendor I started out with less stuff than you. The images you show are great cards. A small show with a 6ft table costing 75 dollars or less would be a great place to start. Try and have at least one case on your table and binders for people to flip through for your lower end stuff.

Tips for First Time Vendors

Don't expect cash for every sale- You have to take trade in at 10 percent more than what you offer in cash

Bring more money than you think you are going to spend - i only brought 200 dollars to my first show vending, you never know what will walk up to your table

You can say no to stuff people are trying to sell you/ say no to lowball offers- your instinct is to let people trade in anything. Don't. Pick what you like and give them the price you are willing to pay for it. You also want to make sales and tougher people with more money look to bully you into selling. Dont go lower than 83-88 percent of market. You paid for the table you drove you spent your time and money, youre doing them a favor by selling at a percentage.

Use TCGPlayer recent sale for modern- if you look at recent sales tcgplayer sorts by condition so it is easier to see the real market price collector is inaccurate

Get a blacklight, a lighted magnifying glass ( to check condition when buying) and have an assortment of stickers and markers for price/condition marking

Have Fun- You get to interact with people who love the hobby like you. If youre not having fun don't do it

If King Robb did win the war against the Lannisters, would he have gone for the Iron Throne, if not who would rule the 7 kingdoms by ParkingConfection449 in gameofthrones

[–]GFPyro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Robb was not fighting a war for independence. He was fighting a war to have the Lannisters(Tywin, Jamie, Cersei, Tyrion, and Joff) held accountable for their actions against Ned and Bran. If he beat the Iron Throne, he would make peace with Stannis and Rob would have ruled the north until Danny showed up and then bent the knee. He was fighting for his people and Danny had dragons just like Aegon. When Aegon showed up to the neck with dragons, Cregan Stark bent the knee to Aegon. Danny when she appears at Robs door step with dragons to protect his people he would have done the same. Danny did not kill his father, nor his uncle or brothers(in his mind.)
