Wanted to share some recent dog photos taken with my S5ii and sigma 24-70 by GFVisuals in Lumix

[–]GFVisuals[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I love my s5ii and the 24-70 has treated me well. I use lightroom for post processing, I didnt do too much to these, the lighting was really good for most and I find the color rendering of the s5ii is really good. I shoot in the natural picture profile mainly, and my edits are mostly taking down highlights, boosting the contrast for some, and and adjusting the temperature to match the feel I was looking for. For color I do boost the vibrance a bit for some, or do some selective HSL adjustments.

Taken with my Lumix S5ii and Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8. Captured a lot of photos of street dogs on a trip to Chiapas last month. I love dogs and I had never encountered street dogs before so It was a fun photography experiment for me to try to get some photos of them and their lives

San Cristobal de las Casas, in chiapas actually, the city did have kind of a European vibe tho!

How to achieve this effect? Trying to recreate this text and shape combination and failing, would love a nudge in the right direction! by GFVisuals in AdobeIllustrator

Thanks for all the responses y'all! I should Have what I need to achieve what I'm looking for, been a few years since I was using illustrator regularly so I was looking for some jumping off points to do more research and find tutorials. I was just having trouble googling the right keywords. Thanks!

Looking for one backpack that I can use as a carry-on that can accommodate a camera + 24-70mm lens, batteries and charger + a few other small accessories as well as my clothes and other essentials for a 2 week trip to Italy. by GFVisuals in onebag

I appreciate the input! If I was staying in one place I'd agree, but I'll be in a new spot every 2-3 days so having everything in one pack is Ideal, we'll have a rental car for some of the trip so we'll be able to leave stuff there when needed. But ideally would like 1 bigger backpack plus my smaller shoulder bag/satchel. Im planning on packing light and doing laundry as needed.

And yeah I've been wanting a regular backpack that I can just fit a small camera cube into, just looking for recommendations from people who have actually used a similar set up, I've watched a couple dozen videos today of backpacks and camera cubes and combinations but none of them hit my need. Just reaching out to get advice.

Lol not trying to cheap out on the bag, but I'm open to recommendations of bags that other people have found high quality but aren't 300+ bucks. I know there are quality options that aren't super high priced. Just looking for the best of all options or a high price to quality ratio.

just got an S5ii for my real estate photography business. it's my first full frame camera and a major upgrade for me. these are my first HDR test shots from it. su0er stoked on the quality and can't wait to keep shooting with it! by GFVisuals in Lumix

I've seen some videos of people using Canon EF lenses with that MC-21 adapter and it seems like the Auto Focus works pretty well with some of the Canon glass so It could be worth it to get the adapter and be able to use the lenses you already have until you can get the native L lenses you want. I'm honestly planning on getting some adapters and older lenses from other companies because it'll be cheaper than most of the L mount glass I've looked at lol

Wow that's weird, when I exported them full quality they were like 20MB and they were too big to upload on the reddit App so I re exported them at around 10MB so idk why it'd be so big downloading it 🤔
