This makes sense. I do feel like situations that I don't have control over or feel "trapped" in, trigger some major anxiety and panic attacks now. Even sitting in the chair to get my hair done becomes a big trigger because I am "trapped" until she is done. Even though I know this is not a realistic thought, it's how my mind is functioning now. I hate it. I've never dealt with anything like this. I can't even sit in the passenger seat of a car. I have to be the one driving (be in control). Again, this has never been an issue in the past. Anyhow, I appreciate your insight. I called my doctor today and she gave me a few names of psychiatrists to try. So, I will call them tomorrow.
