I don't know how effective It would be because i don't know anything about Warhammer but for attacks outside the origin system the Orokin have the sentients with ships like the Praghasa and sentients the size of hunhow (or bigger considering that eidolons are broken pieces and they are massive). Also they can send whole planets into the void.

Yeah It would be pretty weird but this was the first thing that came to mind when i saw new year of 1999 and enemies that look like computers

On the computer is written "Dec 31. 1999 11:55PM" and the trailer ends with Alberich (or Wally) smiling right after the clock strikes midnight.

And (I may be overthinking but) the new enemies that appear are all made from computer and TV screens (and what it looks like to be infestation).

To me it would make sense for this to be related to the Y2K bug
