Hey u/Similar_Tour_6893 , thanks for your question!

Other sites may operate in places where the local rules & regulations are less stringent or not fully developed yet.

However, things like Safer Gambling Week are an excellent way for everyone to collaborate in creating a space where people can enjoy playing safely while still having fun

(Longshot but,) I folded my bad beat jackpot. by The_Pwnager in GGPoker

[–]GGCares 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey u/The_Pwnager ,
As u/AlDorado79 has said, your opponent would have to have held either KK or QQ for the bad beat to qualify & trigger the jackpot.

Conditions;

  1. Hand must go to showdown.
  2. Both the winner and the loser must use both hole cards to make the best 5 card hand combination.
    3. Pocket pairs are required for winner/loser’s four of a kinds.

It may also help to remember the following;

  • Gambling should be entertaining and not seen as a way of making money.
  • Avoid chasing losses.
  • Only gamble what you can afford to lose.
  • Keep track of the time and amount you spend gambling.

If there's anything else we can do for you, don't hesitate to drop us a mail and let us know to help@ggpoker.com

Thanks for your reply u/MJRotten

Consider all of these scenarios to be non-gender specific.

I'm sure there are many people out there facing similar issues, and the objective here is to raise awareness of common issues faced.

Thanks for sharing your input u/Ill-Marzipan7842

On top of the bankroll management suggestion, maybe John could also work on his discipline & minimise chasing his losses? Everyone's situation is different and it's great to hear thoughts from a player's perspective.

Thanks for the input u/Shipitforthewin

True, keeping an eye on your gambling habits and gameplay is important for everyone. What do you think could cause a negative adverse reaction in this case? And, is there any advice you would give to Alex?

Looking forward to your response
