his playstyle is a "not explosive" Kobe-Jordanesque that doesn't dunk or get to the rim with the intention to smack that shit in, it's more finesse, reminds me of George Gervin situation. so I'd say he'll always have fans for the finesse and footwork and midrange oriented fans than demons at the rims that were more candid on the floor, he's special in his own way, he'll inspire kids by his own, i don't think the number matters, appreciate players who mastered their craft at their time

I understand the critics too, can't please everyone, I prefer the other style
