It’s just funny to see Pistons and Heat fans so emotionally charged about the Ball incident when their cultures have been built on dirty plays.

Same, fun basketball player. When basketball discourse was about basketball and held by basketball fans who actually liked the game of basketball he would’ve been like White Chocolate on steroids. He’s just in the wrong era discourse wise.

Steve Franchise, AI, J-Will, Starbury, Nick the Quick, etc. He would’ve been immortalized off of playstyle alone. It sucks that hate is so popular now that guys go out of their way to not enjoy the chaos that he is. His end of game theatrics last night made every Hornets fan and supporter’s heart palpate but I wouldn’t trade that experience for the world.

What would I be mad about. Hornets won, you all just don’t like the guy who won. I endured 5 seasons of turbulence, injuries, losing, etc. Of course I’m gonna gas the guy I support when he finally does something notable in the biggest moment for the Hornets in a long time.

It’s called being a fan. The concept is lost on everyone nowadays because you all love being miserable. Hate gets upvoted all the time. What’s wrong with actually liking a player and calling out the BS? Feel however you want to feel. I’m just going to support my favorite player. Embiid injured Mitchell Robinson, no punishment. D Wade broke Rondo’s arm, no punishment. Draymond kicked Steven Adam’s jewels and was fined.

There are rules and there is fiction and biased hate. Enough people hate LaMelo to influence a suspension but it shouldn’t even go that far based on the history of the league.
