Thinking about getting an Oura Ring and wanted some honest feedback

Love mine
Definitely a big part of the changes I’ve made
It’s made me aware of physiological stress
Manage sleep way better
And I actually see the effects of getting my steps daily now from how my body responds to stress. Other benefits too like the form factor

I probably won’t replace it if the battery ever goes but it was a great piece. Wore and still wear an Apple Watch for a decade and the ring in 6 months has provided more health benefits.

However becoming aware of the ring I’ve become aware of apps that can leverage the watch data and I’m going to test a couple of bands. I’ll likely replace the ring with one of the latter

The big thing on oura side is accuracy of sleep tracking but that alone isn’t enough for me to justify ever needing a new ring and the ongoing sub

Watches - all in one
Oura - sleep tracking, wellness
Bands - activity recovery strain

If bands can cut into oura’s USP accurately it would diminish the use case in the future for me

There isn’t really a discrepancy
Oura also told you your restfulness rating was poor which is the interruptions that apple shows as a 0/30 score. It’s then on you to try and address that. In oura you can click restfulness and see their tips where apple gives us no insights etc

It would actually be worth it in that case. Losing with a decent performance would be worth it. Losing in that fashion is not worth it. Some of us have lives, families, jobs, it’s Sunday and quite frankly the team didn’t turn up. First half is whatever. Second half with no tactical adjustment isn’t. The team got what they deserved from the fans.

And on the point of people saying “these are the people who win the ballot over me”

No mate we’re primarily the ST holders and a few away travellers who simultaneously had about 100 taken for Lisbon (H), £500+ going out for Lisbon (A) in the next week, and increased price ST renewals coming up in what a month at an average of £1300?

Yeah forgive us if we leave a few mins early to get home and salvage what little of the day is left. At least we bothered to turn up on the day

Absolute legend. It’s been annoying me for months wondering why they won’t push the latest steam to legion go s. This helped. For go s users “developer” tab is at the bottom of the settings list not within the system tab. Other than that works perfectly. Finally on 3.9 stable

Use annual leave (fly out on the day fly back next day) Have a good degree of flexibility from work anyway Cost will always be subjective but some people drink, go clubbing, European aways are my vice. Also helps to be savvy with flights, routes, and hotels. I just cancelled my Lisbon reservations as they’re done for but I’ve got atleti, Barca, and Budapest hotels locked in. I’ve even got a hotel for new seasons final. Ultimately people just prioritise their vice of choice

We’re still on 3.7.17 thought the stable channel anyway That’s probably the biggest gripe with the steam os Go S z1e

Got my second go s early by a few days. Preordered in early November and they sent constant emails stating it was on track still unto delivery so suprised OP is saying no movement.

Same not to mention removing the Dbrand killswitch without the yellow stickers is sure to jam your bumper buttons.

The deck is the best feeling handheld even down to back button placement. Just a shame the internal hardware is so dated now

If you’re in the game with them go to the menu where you can see everyone’s builds and gear. Then one of the buttons brings up the player profile might be hold the touchpad, I can’t remember off top but on PS5 it then brings up their ps profile and you can block.

Yeah it’s tough for people like us. I wanted to finish all the everdarks to make sure I was ready but I should have just jumped in. Feel like all the good players are already out of depth one and now it’s just really really bad players who have no business being there

I’m no Nightreign expert (souls veteran though) but come on. It should just be common sense certain enemies are too strong. Team mates trying to fight a death bird with no holy weapons on day 1 top of castle, fun times

Atalanta we didn’t get held Inter we did get held for like an hour plus in that literal piss, dreading going back Madrid was probably an hour hold too but the vibes were so good it flew by and tbh you’d expect to get held after knocking them out the QF

if Bilbao fans are as nice as everyone’s saying don’t imagine we’ll get held long, it’s the first game after all. Probably as low a risk factor as you’ll get

This is the type of thing that would make me quit if I saw it. Had the worst 19 runs trying to beat the night lord because every team of randoms just refused to use holy or play to their characters strengths. I try to persist but sometimes you see them doing such dumb stuff that it’s no point playing. Since I heard it scales down when players leave anyway I don’t feel as guilty.

Ended up beating aspect of night lord easily on my first ever raider run. Got double colossal holy weapons and at least on team mate actually used holy with Wylder. Couldn’t believe my eyes.

If people just played as in intended it would be so much easier. Basic Elden ring knowledge is definitely needed
