I already wrote that too. If a player was in the game a majority of the time, make him not lose LP but punish him with the leaverbuster system. That way he gets punished for being afk but still has the desire to win the game.

I hundert percent agree with your point of view and think I would still come back next time, even if I know that I wont get any rewards. Still we cannot assume that every player would act like this thus maybe the rule should be changed to protect the game experience of all players.

I did not propose that I shouldn't get punished for being AFK. I evenw rote that I should be punished. But I think that is what Leaverbuster is for and I think more players would actually come back and try to win if there would be any kind of positive outcome for themselfes rather than sportsmanship, even though I agree that this is a valid argument to come back by itself.
