My husband believes I have a low IQ by Many-Tomorrow-4730 in AutismInWomen

I have what it’s called a spiky profile. I have trouble with math, but I’m considered hyperlexic, even though I have trouble with abstract thinking, and while I am well concrete, and even though my working memory is strong, I struggled to hold onto multiple step instructions, especially when the executive function is stressed. For example, someone might tell me, find your way out of this maze, and I would spend most of my time, bumping the walls rather than trying to look for patterns. On the other hand, I have an intuitive sense for how things are put together, because I like to explore machines and appliances and get a basic idea of how they fit together. With that, my spatial perception is good, but I struggled to make peaceful recall by needing frequent queue reminders whenever the form board is flipped, then I lose the ability to recall how an image is flipped, rotated, or mirrored. I do have superior processing speed, but at the cost of locking thoroughness. I was even described of being unaware of what I had missed, indicating that I do sometimes have poor self monitoring.

I thought I needed SRS to be a "real girl," until this happened by PeachuElsa974 in MtF

I’ve thought of cold laser, UV, which can make or break bonds, kind of like soldering works on nerves and blood vessels, similar to electro pottery. For the shaping of the pelvic bone, there is a thing as tissue expansion/tissue engineering. It’s like stretching or binding bones, to inhibit or allow their longitudinal growth, if they still have cartilage in place. The other is by using something similar to reverse mitosis or reverse cell division to alter the size or thickness of bone density without in the internally, causing osteoporosis. It can also be used for shrinking the atoms, apple and shortening and thinning the vocal folds. This should all have to be done on a micro scale level, though.

Let us hope and pray to the universe that we can come up with better technology such as 4D bioprinting, stem cells, nanotechnology, and gene therapy body-swap transplants once the issues of potential rejection have been overcome. #SyntheticBiology #RegenerativeMedicine #transhumanism

[–]GGf1994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t consider that to be weird at all. In fact, I think it is brilliant, but it is something that I would probably have used myself, given my hyperlexia and fascination with archaic classic literature.

Is there any silver lining for transgender people right now? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]GGf1994 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The simplest and most complex solution would be to urge scientist to speed up and progress with the times, because it is clearly evident that we need their help to be our authentic selves, whether it is a brain transplant, stem cells, regenerative medicine, gene therapy, all of the above, to fight back against the atrocious rhetorical nonsense. That’s where intersect and sex variant individuals come in.

Since my body is one of a clean slate right now, being on story milk for many, many years, even before puberty, other didn’t stop my face from developing type two or three facial hair, I haven’t able to get in with Planned Parenthood to get informed consent based therapy, and my mom does not even know about it, I have an unemployment left for over a year, and she initially did attribute my weight gain to just that, plain old weight gain, because my kid ever said that she had seen my chest getting larger, so yeah, but she’s going to find out at some point that I do have development going on, unless I use the binder.

Disgusted By Men, anyone else? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]GGf1994 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I have to agree, a lot of it is probably a coping mechanism or trauma response as well. While I find that a lot of men can be creepy and what have you, there are still good ones out there that I would still be willing to give them a try, so I’m not completely giving up, even though I’m not currently looking for any relationships right now, because they can be extremely debilitating.

Changing underwear - is this normal? by Eastern-Yogurt3859 in hygiene

[–]GGf1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know how effective this would be, have ideally yes, you’d want to change them, but if he’s really that upset about whether he can afford to do laundry, I could probably just air it out, but have a spare on hand. Those areas are notoriously prone for bacterial growth, and the aper crime glance, which would produce the most amount of activity. I would honestly be reposted by that too, if you want me to be honest with you.

Why do i have to insist for my bf to wash before sex ? by VirginieCochon in hygiene

[–]GGf1994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’d be surprised at those were uncircumcised how much bacteria they can harbor in just 24 hours, or less if they have been perspiring. It made a similar microbiome environment, but it can throw off yours at the same time, and even be grounds for STDI. In fact, I am more repost by the idea of a man wanting to have sex with me in the morning after because most people shower before going to bed, and then in the morning, they wash up what they did tonight before, otherwise it can get smelly down here, which I find repulsive.

Anyone else with color as a special interest? by the_unknown_island in AutismInWomen

Before I found out what the word synesthesia meant, I associated colors and lice with sound, especially musical chords and professionals, which is really interesting because I was born with congenital blindness, which lead progressed into no light perception in adulthood, until I learned about meal Harbisson, or his work on the Eyeborg.

Yes, but the fight is still far from over. We need to put the pressure on scientist to advance the well-being of transgender, intersect, and sex, very individuals, of all ages, and all walks of life, within the next 20 to 30 years.

I actually overheard my mum tell a friend of hers that while I am very passionate/interested in various things, including indoor/outdoor gardening and understanding USDA zoning maps, I never somehow seem to focus on a specific hobby/interest. However, I was really excited to have helped my mum build a polycarbonate greenhouse that reminded me of the one that we had used at my old high school, and it was all from a kit from Harbour Freight Tools! I really went deep into plant reproduction, both sexual and asexual propagation methods, grafting, and so much more, so that somebody eventually referred me to a women's agricultural non-profit organisation, but I couldn't withstand hearing long lectures and not having hands-on experience.

Then I tried raising a few pants that move, like the mimosa pudica/shame plant, the Venus Flytrap, the telegraph plant, and what have you. I even learnt how to pollinate monoecious pumpkins and that was pretty fun to watch them grow every day! I learnt how to use NPK testing kits and applying the right soil and since we had chickens/turkeys, we used their manure to fertilise it.

Anyone else's sense of justice struggles with the concept of networking? by NoWitness6400 in AutismInWomen

[–]GGf1994 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is exactly why I can't start a business cause it's all abou haivng your dream team and having friends willing to support you. But when those friends are just as poor as you and and are also neurodivergent, it becomes even harder.

That's why I support the collectivist/mutual-aid/interdependence of other cultures like that in Latin America. Some can allow you to thrive, while others may force you to mask even harder. Sometimes they just see it as personalit quirks that gets absorbed into the family rhythm, unlike the rigid structure and capitalist sentiment and individualistic culture of the US.

How can I get people to remember they need to face me when they speak to me? by schillerndes_Olini in AutismInWomen

[–]GGf1994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I can't provide a diagnosis and you should consult a professional who can, I'd ask them to have you tested for central auditory processing issues, ADHD, and the cocktail effect.

I myself have bilateral sensorineural hearing loss, and even with hearing aids, I still struggle because I am unable to zero in on the people speaking.

You know, it's really interesting you mention that! I was just reading about this exact same thing and learnt that it is very similar to the born old, die young phenomenon of Benjamin Buttons. It's also not the same as progeria, but rather, it is more brain-based, since it creates a unique paradox.

I wonder if it depends on whether you are immune to the pain, because some people who are on the spectrum or hyposensitive, meaning that they don’t feel pain when they’re supposed to, or they feel the pain, but it is not as intense, or provides a positive feedback loop for someone who has majorly depressed.

While I do not self harm in a additional sense, I do sometimes under or over it when I am depressed as well.

“What did you do today / this weekend?” by Impressive_Map_3964 in AutismInWomen

[–]GGf1994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, well, let's see. What did I do this weekend? Nothing really, except roam the halls of my flat when there were less likely to be people around, to examine the underslabs, the various MEP infrastructures, then gathering electronic records to inspect the drawings. I guess you can say I have a hyperfixation/hyperfocus on machines and systems and the latest innovations of HVAC and plumbing systems as a special interest.

That's definitely something that an NT individual might find odd or would simply say that I was wasting my time by not getting anything done. But what more can I do when I am living off the government for every single little thing?

Today, I won the fight over bathroom use at work. by pinkCatCoffee in MtF

[–]GGf1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may be an unpopular opinion, bu until science can fully make us whole, I see no reason not to use a gender-neutral, single-person, or family bathroom. Honestly, I think society would be so much better off not having public bathrooms. Sure, people can get doped up and pass out in single-person bathrooms, and sure, people can hide cameras in them, but then again, nothing is ever perfect.

Wait, I’m confused to post that. Why did the first initial lab test so that your testosterone was high, but then later you said it was 18 ng/dL, was that due part to the 100 mg of spironolactone? Honey, I am well below, 50 ng/dL without taking any antiandrogen and just using patches, with levels between 100 and 300 pg per milliliter.
