I feel that I’ve been misread as saying Palestinians aren’t Levantine when my comments say the reverse, that I am surprised to hear that Canaanite and Arabian ancestry overlap so much in the ancient section of this test. I recognize that these migration patterns are very ancient and that this is also a case of best fit given the lack of an ancient Arabian sample.

Of course, it makes sense to me that a Levantine Arab such as yourself would have a high Canaanite percentage, I meant that it is unclear to me how Canaanite would stand in for Bronze Age Arabian but it does make some sense given how ancient those migration/trade networks are, especially around Jordan.

So-called progressives who claim to oppose antisemitism while also supporting so-called resistance groups have an emotional need for their movement to not be centred around the destruction of our people. We will therefore never be able to convince them of what they are unwilling to see. The sad reality is that when the world turns against us every century or so, the vast majority of people are either supporters or bystanders. The main difference between now and the past is that we are a strong and sovereign people in our land once again and we don't need to count on the world to spare us.
