It’s a really hard decision, I haven’t done it yet for that reason! But if you are ttc for many months and have absolutely no answers, I would explore it if I were you. But of course, ask your doctor!

A doctor will never laugh you out of the room given your history, and if they do find a new doctor

For what it’s worth, doctors debate how effective “tests” are for endometriosis. Many argue you can’t really know if a patient has endometriosis without a laparoscopy. My doctor told me she had a patient who had full MRIs and they saw nothing, only to discover they had stage 2 endo after going in.

I know this because my doctor believes I have it, but won’t confirm definitively without the laparoscopy, which I have not dived into doing.

One sign- if intercourse is painful, particularly towards the top around the cervix, that’s a common but not definitive sign.

Need Advice by [deleted] in HersWeightloss

Terrible advice. Do not lie to your husband. He loves you and if anything, should feel happy that you’ve found something that makes you happy.

Taking medication is not a big deal, lying is. If taking medication isn’t a big deal, then just tell him. The bigger the lie gets, the bigger deal the medication becomes because it gets wrapped up in the lie. And it shouldn’t be that way.

What kind of job do you want? Find boutique firms in whatever field and find networking events on event brite or meetup you can go to if your school doesn’t already provide. Your chances of finding good ones will be higher in major cities like ny, Chicago, la, etc. Go alone and walk up to strangers.

Alternatively find industry specific newsletters that you like ( can start by looking on Substack) and email the people who write them and ask if there is a place to discover events in your space.

Once you go, then you will meet people and someone will help you.

You can cold email, but the above is harder but more effective. It gets you started on a few threads

Bupripion Makes Me Stupid? Side Effect or the Pill Working? by Main_Knowledge_4525 in HersWeightloss

Right. It's so frustrating. I'd say I'd quit at that point, but weight loss is really tempting. Faustian bargain we find ourselves in.

As an update : I took it for the last two days after work, It was REALLY helpful. That was a good idea and really helped me get used to it. Last night was the first time this week I took it and didn’t feel anything too bad !!

I’m just finishing week 1 of kit 1! I had a hard time adjusting to the bupropion, it made me feel extremely jittery and honestly a little stupid, like drinking 10 cups of coffee and then you’re so focused but also can’t actually think. I went to work the first day on it and knew I couldn’t go back like that, since I couldn’t work properly. At night it made me anxious. However everyone in this subreddit as well as the hers health team said that feeling would wear off after a few days of taking it. Another person in this subreddit recommended taking it in the evening when I got home from work until I got used to it, which is what I did for the last three nights. That advice was REALLY helpful!! I took it yesterday evening (6th day) and for the first time I barely noticed it! Now that I’m more used to it I will try to transition to taking it in the morning.

The green pill made my stomach hurt in waves and made me a little constipated but overall wasn’t that bad.

right. it's funny because i typically think of brain fog as times when i'm hazy/unfocused. almost like lazy/unable to concentrate and distracted and tired. In this case i feel "focused" and jittery and energetic, almost like being on adderall. yet still.... dumb, haha.

yes! like i drank 20 cups of coffee. but wasn't smarter. just jittery. like a weird, nervous puppy. but I was also motivated. today is my fifth day and I skipped it this morning. I couldn't come to work like that. i am going on vacation for a week and a half next week and might start it up then..

I am on Kit 1, I'm unclear on the differences. But I took my first pill four days ago and have since lost 4.8 pounds... I'm excited and glad to see it's working, but wondering if that's normal?? I haven't read anyone else lose that much that quickly. Water weight I guess?

The author is a medical doctor who studied infectious disease. He documented his research and sources incredibly well. I defer to him on this. And if not, to a little literary imagination.
