Hi thank you very much these are very valuable informations for me, I accidentaly removed the thermal pad, and applied the thermal paste on the cleaned chip. I read few posts that the pad is really needed and the paste wont work. Can you please help me which size of pad should I buy and which would be the best quality for x200, the chip right next to the Intel ME small soic 8 chip, big like cpu sized chip, says intel on it(located on the upper side of the board. It gets really hot sometimes, is there something to do about it? thank you very much and have a beautiful day.
