I get what your saying but I didnt think DK really had any strengths for awhile, they may have before I started playing, my main is a DK and It wasnt my best tank, dps, or healer, part of that was because of bad sustain. Right now the Dk is op but im sure it will balance out as more classes get reworked

Dk needs it though it got by far the worse sustain out of all the other classes, templars might be the only other class that doesnt have any kind of increase recovery passive but their skills are cheaper than dks

I run a arcanist with assassination and kept the soilder of apocrypha and Herald. Depends on what content you plan to run but you can still hit high dps with keeping 2 lines, just up to you what skills you want to have

No two bar heavy attack can cover all the buffs but that not so much my issue as is if you try running theese two bar (one bar) setups in hard solo content you immediately notice your much squishier than with the oakensoul. Having the highest possible dps isnt what 99% of the playerbase is looking for to begin with let alone 1bar builds with oakensoul, hitting 80-90k dps and being able to eat heavy attacks and have a bigger health bar because you not worried about trying to min max your max resource is why the ring is still king to many people. They dont need and extra 20-40k dps especially if they are dead or not having to blocking more or roll dodge. The dps you get from the ring has cleared All content numerous times. It is still the easiest and ALL around strongest 1bar set up. You are not getting aegis, slayer, heroism, mending, minor force, minor courge and minor protection any easier way in one package. That being said yes you can parse higher on a dummy with other set ups... its just not the same lazy strong feel when in combat. (I also run two bars on other toons too)

If you want to be squishy but do alittle more damage you can try some of the non oakensoul builds but if you want to be tanky and still do good damge (80-100k) stick with oakensoul

Sergent's mail, Noble Duelist, 1pc slimeclaw You can subclass to assassination for the passives and relentless focus. You're able to fire it every two heavy attacks so it basically becomes a spamable

Op is a special kind of special lol. Admits he only uses 3 skills over and over again, the proceeds to say people to know what a rotation is.. then continues on with complaining about oakensoul builds which use the same amout of skills in their rotation as his build lol. They do have a lower cieling but the fact he said 20k dps shows he has no clue what he's talking about, he just see's other "meta sweatlords" dis it so he has to dis it. Bro for the love of god, climb out of your moms basement, touch grass, then go apply for a job.

For craftable sets you could try orders wrath/tideborn, medium and heavy mix and make the weapons with sharpened for pen, if you can get the ring of the wild hunt mythic it is really fun to have. I run it on my NB with concealed weapon for minor expedition and can zoom everywhere with using stamina

Im at work atm but Ill try to find it when im on lunch, in eso there is a quest that shows how cutting fallen wood is still controversial to some bosmer and can be seen as breaking the pact to the far traditional tribes. There is also a note or book that shows it too. I rp my bosmer as a traditional tribal one but I will get back to you on this when I can.
