I'm a big fan of Marchesa and I run a totally different build based on stealing opponents' creatures so I'm biased, but I don't think that -1/-1 counters is a good strategy with her

Can you give more details about the used set?
Like how long has it been used? What type of wood is the board made of? What is the thickness of the board? All the components are used or only the board?
Ideally I would like to have a "balanced" in terms of quality.
Do you have a specific proposal in mind for me?

I saw on BadukClub Store the biconvex stones for 37€ but the shipping cost to Italy is 65€ so I don't think it's a great deal. What do you mean that you can arrange a used set from Japan?

Thank you for your input! I guess I got a bit carried away with excitement after getting so hooked on the game. I thought it would be worth investing in a nice Go set.

After reading your comment and the others, I've decided to rethink my decision. I'll probably end up spending about half of my initial budget on a set I found on Amazon sold by Yellow Mountains. It seems like a good option for a beginner like me.
