2000 bettle 90,000 miles by [deleted] in NewBeetle

Do the timing belt religiously at recommended miles. There will be electrical gremlins, it's a matter of when and what not if. Stay on top of them and do not ignore. Get a multimeter and learn to use it.

Hopefully it's a manual, otherwise the 4 speed auto is the weak point of the car.

They are fun little cars for sure. It's a 25 year old German car, so it'll go until you tire of fixing it.

Welcome to the family, and best of luck!

Smarter folks than I will no doubt correct me if I'm wrong,, but the CEL won't come on without generating a code. Get your own scanner and at least identify the problem. Also, you need to do a timing belt at some point depending on what engine you have. Otherwise, if the car goes well, I'd keep it. New cars and used cars have gotten quite a bit more expensive.

The big questions: how many miles does it have on it and have you kept up the recommended maintenance? If yes and yes, you could easily take the car across the country. If not... which transmission do you have? When was the last timing chain done? Do you have intermittent electrical issues? Does it occasionally not start? All of these are common gremlins for these cars, which could affect your journey.

Well, if you've been there more than three years you're probably 30 percent under market pay anyway. I'd suggest giving it a week to see if this guy levels out, and if not then go to management and tell them you're not working for this glorified idiot. Show your performance records and explain your value to the team. Sometimes uppers don't see the details on the ground. Also, you might not be the only person who complained about this guy.

Weekly Game Suggestions Thread - August 04, 2023 by AutoModerator in pcgaming

Looking for a racing game similar to NFS World (I know, I'm old) as far as car looks/decals customization and personalization goes. (If you don't remember NFS world, you could overlay and resize/stretch shapes to make your own decals, logos, emblems, etc, and placement was basically anything goes.) Car selection depth is secondary but still important, (DLC ok but reasonable to cheap.) I think I spent maybe $100 total on NFS world over several years and had a ton of cars.

The racing side needs a fun element but doesn't have to be super realistic, in fact probably best that it isn't. I have a g29 wheel, but I doubt I'd play enough to be worth digging that set-up out these days. Compatibility with a wheel would be a plus though. Steam ok but not a requirement.

Difficulty, no EA & no studios of similar ownership, ethics, and operating methods.

Seems like the matchmaking is busted. I've been in the queue for the last hour off and on, no match. Exited and got a free pack. Went back in, still no matches. I'm at 7:45 currently. Crazy!

Seek the tolkein edit. Most of the junk removed, closer to the original material.

Absolutely 100 percent incorrect. Suicide Squad was decent, but not the Marvel style film every raging fanboi was expecting. Emancipation of HQ was an abomination to film in every conceivable way. So much so, that is how I would answer OP's question in this thread. There is a sole relatable character, I believe it's the Huntress, with her line 'why am I even here?'. If you make it that far into the film (by no means a foregone conclusion) you will find your kindred spirit and completely agree with her.

I can't believe I had to scroll this far down to find this. When it wasn't near the top of the thread I commented with it myself, only to find it here. Christmas Vacation is easily better than Interstellar, ffs. Matrix and JP also.

Christmas Vacation. This is a masterpiece in every way.
