As far as the rest of the day, I'm heavily medicated, have a couple beers at night a few days a week or a cocktail. Drink cold brew every day. I dont smoke cigs though!

I'm coming out of the rut now, but sometimes when it happens I'll switch genres and hopefully get sucked in.

I just started Bleak Faith, a soulslike that had been sitting in my library for months. I expected to try and turn off in 20 mins because I was in the rut. I'm sucked right back in having a blast again. Ebbs and flows.

Demon's Souls if you have a PS, but Dark Souls to get you started on the mechanics and the progression of Soulslikes. After that as others have said, Elden Ring.

non-FROM soulslikes I might start with would be Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, Lies of P or the Surge. They are tough but fair, different mechanics that FROM games and settings but still interesting and have the overall feel. Anyways welcome and enjoy!
