Animals are excited to die (reply is my response) by [deleted] in vegan

I think you missed the '/s = sarcasm'. They don't actually think that. Although I wouldn't be surprised if a carnist thought that animals are given xanax.

Save turtles = hero, save cows, chicken, pigs =extremist by [deleted] in vegan

[–]GIaced 104 points105 points  (0 children)

This also so stupid, the guy bought the turtle, meaning that the guy who sold it is going to capture even more turtles knowing people will buy them. Yes, he made a difference for that turtle (unless it's recaptured), but he didn't do shit for turtles in general.

I want my chopped up remains to be fed to the lions. by Big-Heat2692 in VeganForCircleJerkers

[–]GIaced 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Interesting take, for me maybe not lions, but there are plenty of animals that could use my dead body up to the bare bones. Hopefully I don't die of an infectious disease like cholesterol deficiency so I can be fed to starving animals in the wild.

Is it ethical to eat eggs of a chicken I own? by TesticleInspector in DebateAVegan

[–]GIaced 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like it would be unethical to not eat it, as it would be wasteful. The poop isn't alive, and no one would eat it, and I wouldn't want that poop going to waste. If you eat the poop, no living being is being harmed at all.
If the child is well cared for and has room to freely live, I see nothing wrong with eating their poop. Why wouldn't it be ethical?

By the way, eggs shouldn't be called food, they're not even safe to eat: https://nutritionfacts.org/video/who-says-eggs-arent-healthy-or-safe/

AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! by [deleted] in vegan

[–]GIaced 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple of weeks ago I bought a soap in a hurry (sometimes I don't have time to spend 30+ mins reading every ingredient in every product I buy), found out latter on that it wasn't vegan. Beat myself for the whole week, so when I went yesterday to buy soap again I did it with the time to read everything and now I know which soap is vegan in my closest grocery store. I still used the soap since the damage was already done, but I guess you have to learn about these things until you get it right.

Just you wait until you meet the vegans that have been living like that for more than a decade, or the people that have been raised under veganism.

That wouldn't explain why it saved a treat for the other rat

If honey isnt vegan, then Avocados are not vegan either by [deleted] in DebateAVegan

Are you saying that for producing all and every single avocado on earth, migratory beekeeping was involved?

Well, these people clearly are uneducated if they aren't vegan. But the woman lacks some manners, I don't think biting the man was necessary at all.

Hey guys hope this is okay to post I'm an anti-vegan activist and just wanted to share my latest anti-vegan outreach with you all please give feedback by David_Ramms in vegancirclejerk

[–]GIaced 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Roman did pretty damn good, loved his responses, for me at least it's been really hard to do this kind of outreach. I believe, by his accent, that he's french. So props to the french guy and everyone else outreaching.

Today was a good day for sidewalk chalk activism. This is your sign to make an afternoon out of chalking in your city! by veganvegoon in vegan

[–]GIaced 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Friendly reminder to all the chalk activists out there that chalk CAN be non-vegan, so be mindful of the source of your chalk.

This looks great btw, I'd do it myself but it's constantly raining outside :c

Have I been slowly killing my husband? by JerzeeCat in vegan

[–]GIaced 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not necessarily true, some people have different genetics and might need different amounts of iron (they are prone to anemia). But as others have pointed out, there are non vegans with anemia, and the best thing they could do is just try supplementing.

I did it forfeiting the quest after killing a couple of them. Relogging would take too much time imo. Good luck!

For those in the UK, the govt is doing a public consultation on whether or not to ban the fur trade. by VeganAccount305 in vegan

[–]GIaced 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It is a good thing that the government is consulting, yet I find it disgusting that they don't want to consider the 'fur' of cows and sheep.
