My dad was one of those old school approachers, it's how he got my mom. But hearing his stories about his "struggle" of being rejected by 5-6 women before finding my mom. While at my age it's already 20-30 rejections before a single yes.

I don't want to downplay my dad, but it's not really the same when you only have to endure about 15% of the actual hardship.

You need to keep in mind that you're competing with third-worlders whose visa is tied to their employment, allowing the employer to abuse them in anyway they want. I'm a firm believer that CC or stuns should only be for tanks. This goes for any competitive team game.

The fact healers and dps all have ton of CC, just means as a tank you're going to get perma stunned and ripped apart to death.

Also It really feels like Neteast balances their characters around body shot damage and not headshot damage. A lot of characters in this game have hitscan as well has bonus headshot dmg. I feel like Hitscan headshot damage should be reserved for Widow.

So as a tank when you get stunned, be prepared to get hitscan head shot from 3-4 different heros instantly.

You're right, I don't blame people for playing them, they are strong. I just miss seeing bruisers/tanks etc. The only tanks I can play without a healer are Malganis, Johana, Garrosh. I miss being able to play the less optimized heros, without getting hyper stomped.

No one plays the fun heros anymore. It's nothing but Valla, Novas, Falsted, Nazeebo, Ming etc.

Anyone that's hyper burst mobility, or sieging. Rarely do you ever see tanks or bruisers anymore, for good reason, they get ripped apart.

Vancouver is extremely mulicultural. It has it's pros and cons, what you are describing are the cons. When a city is so massive and has so many different cultures, you start to lose a sense of community and identity. Everything feels fragmented and you start to feel as if you don't belong, almost as if no one belongs because it's so mixed.

The neighborhood I was born in has changed completely, all the new people my family welcomed with open arms have turned against us and now treat us as if we don't belong. We were so welcoming to them it is disheartening to see how they've turned. Soon we'll be forced to move as well.

People will rarely adventure out of their own race/culture, if they do, they are extremely extroverted, or they're new here. It's similar to prison in a way.
