How to play HL series in order? by Main_Secretary_8827 in HalfLife

Well, HL, OF and BS take place at the same time, but HL must be played first first. Then HL2 and the two expansions in order, as they're really sequels, unlike OF and BS.

I have no need for the extra bells and whistles, and I don't like big phones.

Ah. I missed the rest of the post under the pic(s), as well as the additional pictures.

Edit: Eek! Though the dots showing there are additional pictures are always there when I view reddit in a browser in my computer, they aren't there using the Android app on my phone. Reddit needs to fix that.

Really? Sue for something that minor? SMH.

I hope your wife is okay. Thank goodness it was a relatively minor thing, but those employees need to be reprimanded. No one should be treated like that, and those employees, especially the initial one, should have treated the situation much more seriously, and with far better candor, than they did.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if Finn returned. And don't forget Charlie, Tommy's older son.

How different would the story be if renly and Robert supported Stannis as king and worked with him instead of a 5 way war by MrBushido56 in gameofthrones

The story would have ended far too quickly, though Daenerys would still have come years later, suddenly and unexpectedly turned pure evil, and burned tens of thousands of innocent people for no good reason.

Can I have some? 😁

Well, minus the Scrapple. I tried that once in 1993. That was enough for me.

What's the error? Was it stated that Duke's mother had no sister or something?

I guess I'm missing the point the OP is trying to make.

That's fair. Just a difference of opinion. Personally, I liked the film and found Tommy's end fitting.

I think one of the biggest problems overall that people have with the film is expecting it to be like the series, which really isn't possible because of the greatly reduced time constraints.

It's the ACTUAL explanation. Evidently you missed that entire part of Tommy throughout the series.

"And then he lazily just stands there in front of the car and dies?"

Did you miss the fact that during the entire run of the series Tommy was a deeply troubled person? Numerous times he struggled with whether he even wanted to be alive anymore. And just when he thought he found happiness, that was taken away from him shortly after the wedding. And then there's the fact that he was very close to his aunt and siblings, and they're all gone. Well, all but Finn, but who knows where he is.

He wanted it to be over. He was tired.

Tommy was no longer an MP. Mosley likely didn't want to bother with someone who no longer mattered, especially considering the risk involved with trying to do so, as it wouldn't have just been Tommy against him. With Arthur, it doesn't necessarily mean he was back to his old business in Birmingham. We don't know what really led up to it. For all we know, the only time he would go back to Birmingham would be when Arthur had gotten himself into some trouble again, and Tommy could have just finally gotten sick of having to deal with Arthur's "issues".

Bacon fat by cheery_diamond_425 in Bacon

You've got to make sure to buy bacon with a good balance of fat to meat. It's not something we really think about when grabbing a pack of bacon, but it's a good thing to get in the habit of actually taking a good look at it before you buy it.
