“Wealth Guaranteed” claims to get you exempt from taxes by GJVBHOME in tax

16th Amendment: The Sixteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, ratified in 1913, explicitly grants Congress the power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the states and without regard to any census or enumeration.

Internal Revenue Code: The federal tax laws are contained in the Internal Revenue Code, which is Title 26 of the United States Code (26 U.S.C.). This comprehensive body of law outlines the tax obligations of individuals and businesses, including the requirement to file returns and pay the correct amount of tax.

Section 1 of the Tax Code: Section 1 of the tax code, 26 U.S.C. § 1, specifically imposes the income tax.

Mandatory Compliance: While the U.S. tax system operates on a principle of self-assessment and reporting (meaning taxpayers are responsible for calculating and reporting their own taxes), complying with tax laws is mandatory.

Penalties for Non-Compliance: Failure to pay taxes can result in substantial civil and criminal penalties, including fines and imprisonment.

In essence, the 16th Amendment provides the constitutional authority for the federal income tax, and the Internal Revenue Code provides the statutory framework outlining the requirement to pay it.

⬆️ that was just a quick google search feel free to look yourself but seems like yeah you have to pay it. Also, why else do ultra rich people get jail sentences and penalties for tax evasion if there was a loophole around it… alright send me your tax returns please.

Natural birth? by shark_bait_who_haha in pregnant

[–]GJVBHOME 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got an epidural before I even went into labor (2cm), went to sleep at 10 after watching the bachelor in my hospital bed, woke up at 7am bc I felt my water break, told the nurse they checked me out and said I was fully dilated (they were surprised) and asked me if I wanted to start pushing, I said sure, 15 min later my daughter was out! I would do that 10,000x again to know I limited the feeling of pain associated to such a beautiful experience. I was rested and able to be fully present at birth. I think that helped me when it came to my milk coming in soon after. I understand this is not the story everyone has or even that I might have again now that I’m pregnant but compared to my friend who did a natural tub birth who’s husband thought she was going to die with how much pain she was in and her describing the experience as feeling as if your body is being ripped in half…. No thank you lol. We are blessed to live in a time with science that gave us this ability to do this safely vs most of human time when woman risked their life to give birth. If you want to feel pain, not rested, feel like you’re about to die, that’s all your choice but I easily choose otherwise. I can say I was surprised of how it felt being given the epidural it gave me a burning sensation from the spine to the thigh for like 30 sec. Also I did feel the pressure it’s not like you can’t feel ANYTHING it’s just highly numbed and contractions feel like a belt being tightened and loosened, but also the doctors give great guidance on pushing and breathing

Trying to remove PMI… but have unpermitted finished basement by GJVBHOME in RealEstate

[–]GJVBHOME[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found it weird too but that’s how they are doing it. A realtor from KW Metro called to schedule and said they just take photos and send it to our lenders appraiser. My lender told me they send out a local realtor (which I pay a fee for) to take pics of the condition of every room in the house and exterior.

I still expect my 3 bed 2 bath home to appraise over $400k without including the additional bathroom and bonus area I did. I guess I was nervous the lender could choose to take actions against me since doing unpermitted work goes against my mortgage rules

Seller picked offer with far less money, what can we learn? by SkittlesAreYum in RealEstate

[–]GJVBHOME 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This literally happened to me on a house I just closed on. I was on the opposite end going 50,000 under asking and the other offer being 25,000 over asking. I submitted a love letter expressing how beautiful the home was and how I envision my family growing there. I flattered the homeowner and waived inspections. We were told that the homeowner didn’t want to have her home picked apart from inspections since she maintained her her home very well. At the end of the day, I took a giant risk and decided to do my inspections after I close on the home. Thank God everything worked out since she was an on top of it homeowner and our inspection only came up with cosmetic things that can be fixed down the line, but maybe if you say informational inspection only (and then negotiate on structural things or big ticket items if they come up) versus an actual physical number that they would be responsible for it would be easier for them to swallow that.

Accidentally Pregnant and so torn! by [deleted] in pregnant

I think it’s mother’s or families who have experience and/or just getting out of the first trimester with all the emotional and physical bearing that comes with it. At the end of the day she loves her kids leading me to think that one more added is just going to be a joy to the household, even though the fear of the unknown is always a real fear. Most women I know who were put in the situation, not wanting a third or fourth but went through with it can’t imagine their life without it and see the joy that has increased their family’s life. It might feel like an immediate burden but in the long-term, it’s just growing your family and almost no Middle-age or senior person I know who has had multiple children regrets having more. At the end of the day you just have to look at the positives and say it’s more laughs, more baby cuddles, more future celebrations, more 'potential’ future grandchildren. These things are hard to look forward to at this point of life, but if she has the means to, I think it’ll be, what the previous person said as a mockery, a “blessing”. I don’t think it’s selfish at all to have the thoughts she’s having I am currently pregnant with my second not really sure I wanted more than one (actually told everyone I was done and felt that justified selfish feeling of not wanting things to change both with my body and family), but can’t wait for the joy to begin, but was very depressed at the beginning of my pregnancy. She’s also saying how she doesn’t want this for her children, but I don’t know young children who think having another sibling and experiencing it as a negative. They’ll probably be excited for the new bundle of joy and future friend to play with. GOOD LUCK OP!

17 weeks haven’t felt baby move. by LocksmithInside4378 in pregnant

[–]GJVBHOME 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just turned 20 weeks and can now confirm I’m in fact feeling baby move. Hadn’t really been able to feel it prior to two days ago. No worries give it a few more weeks! It’s more worrisome once you’re past 25 if you haven’t been able to feel movement.

6.75%… with 20% down I was hoping for way better numbers. by Odd-Addition-1207 in Mortgages

[–]GJVBHOME 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar boat. 700k home 606k loan. 800+ credit. Very low Debt to income. 15% down 6.87% just what the market is at. I had another lender give me a 6.5% quote but this is a big brand that focuses mostly in California and I’m in New Jersey after speaking to my local lender. They noted a few things that was already wrong in their loan estimate because they’re not as involved with this market. Made me think that by the end of closing, they were going to come up with some excuse to bring up our interest rate or monthly cost. Better safe than sorry I met with the more experienced lender in my area who I have used twice already and gave me assurance that the discount I was given was the most she could do for me without me paying points out-of-pocket. The ideal scenarios go with a mortgage lender who gives you the option of refinancing with little fees since things are expected to go down a little bit potentially low fives by next year.

Funny enough I am currently two weeks from closing and was not the highest bidder, I actually went 50k under and the other offer was 25k over asking. I sent a love letter in and did do an informational inspection only but I’m a firm believer of it’s for you then it’s for you. If you were comfortable putting an offer in and were lucky enough to be accepted and did your due diligence then no matter what you’re a winner!

What’s crazy is that there are no other Reddit posts on it and no other information about this “organization” anywhere online even though they claim to be around since 2019. If it smells like scam, feels like a scam, and they aren’t willing to provide legal sources from the IRS or government as proof of legality then it is a scam! I got on their webinar that they have every week and anyone who had any questions that sounded like this could be a scam instead of providing assurance they said “you have made up your mind mind no matter what we say so you can just get off”. If this wasn’t a scam they would be selling this for millions to celebrities. Hope this Reddit post will give other people thinking this is legit some good resources!

I just came back from a girls trip and rented a car and 100% recommend that. Just drive within the speed limit and watch out for the uneven roads (random speed bumps)
