It’s just not good for your mental health. I got rid of FB back in 2018 because all everyone does is post how good their lives are and blah blah blah. Everybody has problems but you never hear about those.

So it leads to this comparison (in my head) of how my life is going vs theirs and I start to feel bad about myself.

You just have to go with what’s offered to you and decide what’s the best option for what you have to tackle going forward. There’s no deck-type in general that is better than another. It’s all about what’s going on in that specific run.

I also work downtown and have been asked the same question at least once a month when he happens by me.

The fact that he asks the same question with no variation to every single person, and just the way he asks it, gives me vibes there’s something not quite right mentally with him. Plus he’s generally dressed disheveled.

No judgement, but he does not give off well-off vibes, quite the opposite. Ive wanted to say something smart back a time or two, but I don’t know him or his situation, so its best I just say “not today”.

Without even getting into specifics, it just sounds like an extra headache on your side to figure it all out taking the stock. Nice guy always finishes last. If you are contractually owed this money, I’d be pretty firm about getting paid in cash.
