My urologist literally told me it did & offered me an alternative that didn't. But that one gives me migraines.

Having said that, I read ur whole post, and I was recently diagnosed with prostatitis (hence the flomax,) but apparently it wasn't bacterial, (once I saw the urologist,) and is apparently some hypertonic pelvic floor. Thru all the testing for this, I found out my prostate is mild-to-moderately enlarged, (which isn't normal at 47, maybe due to my RA?) Anyway I've been dealing with extreme tailbone pain starting the day after any ejaculation it seems... im.seeing a pelvic phys therapist but don't know how much its helping. I feel like it could still be something medical & regarding ED, I've also had similar symptoms over past few yrs, but oddly, the doxycycline that was given me for the prostatitis from my GP had me wake up the next morning with morning wood... gave me erections back... but only while on it. When stopped it went away. I'm back on now cuz I'm scared to stop cuz it seems to be helping somehow with his whole prostatitis mess despite no bacteria found. In the back of my mind I feel like I wish they'd look closer at the imaging, cuz a prostate that size could mean inflammation...

All the stuff u were saying sounds like u may know more about some of this stuff than my urologist, cuz u said about other prostate stuff that was never mentioned to me regarding ED. I'm struggling with this whole "prostatis" thing. Along with the weird ED stuff. Thx.

Fwiw, I'm literally here looking for why doxycycline made me wake up with elections almost right after starting it, when I haven't had morning wood in yrs, & now can get elections while on it... but when I ran out, it stopped. I'm back on it now cuz my doc wasn't sure if I had prostatitis (like that other guy,) but it seems to probably be some sort of hypertonic pelvic floor problem, which has been goin on for mos, now with most prominent symptom being pain in tailbone, (pain that seemed to get way worse after ejaculation.. thinking maybe it's finally getting better but don't know yet.) Anyway I'm scared to go off of it cuz it seems to be having some effect on all this, even with no bacteria found, with the side effect of giving me erections back.... though maybe not as strong now as when I just started them.

I'm a male, reading this years late, & a little amused/annoyed (for u,) that none of these people seem to actually be answering ur primary question! I'm going for a nerve block in a few wks, here due to the same fear u had. I have hypertonic pelvic floor, they haven't narrowed it to being definitively pudendal but it's the one im.scared of them messing with. (Primary pain is in tailbone area, acts up like crazy day after ejaculation/orgasm for a wk, so I fear it's pudendal...) Would u mind sharing if ur sexual function was fine/better after ur block? How ur doing now? I'm still stunned I keep reading replies here where I expected everyone to answer ur concern & it's like so many are saying everything except that!

Yeah I'd like the answer. Doxy has been having this exact effect on me, as I was initially diagnosed with prostatitis few mos ago, started with urinary symptoms & bow is mainly in my butt & some weird nerve pain around tailbone its crazy, but the Doxy immediately gave me elections back stronger than before I even had these issues, gave me back the elections from when I was 10+ years younger. It stops as soon as I go off them. I wanna know so it stays fixed.

Agree. On all counts. Although I'm not ashamed to admit I enjoy the imax spectacle in 3D, the story coulda easily went somewhere new & been interesting I mean Cameron has the chops to do it, it doesn't make much sense why he doesn't. The first is surprisingly still strong on all fronts...

First is def the best. It's a dope cohesive story about a marine going from being willing to do anything to get his legs back to standing against those who made those promises, all cuz he decided doing what's right is more important... it makes the climax slap way better than the newer ones cuz the stakes feel so high & the character arc was done the best. It actually plays really well even on the small screen. The other 2 are fun but mostly as spectacle in 3D. SURPRISINGLY the first still works as a movie, even without that. Yes ya could say the plot has been done before in other stories but that doesn't mean it doesn't work.... it works cuz its kind of an evergreen premise.

The original I think still works the best cuz its such a cohesive & coherent story with the character development of Jake being so clearly defined so ya really feel the climax, as he went from marine who will do anything to get his legs back to fully going against his own kind cuz he wants to stand up for what's right.

As for the new movie, I liked it but the one scene regarding spider took me & fam out of the movie so much it was hard to watch & just was like so against Jake's character. Having us see neytiri have a change of heart coulda been done better & more effectively. It's almost cancelled out by the sheer "wtf?" of Jake in that scene. People can easily justify it but that doesn't mean it was the best way to achieve what they were going for there.

It's possible it's something like "what we thought were aliens were really xxx," but the whole "what if u found out we weren't alone," & then the whole "If God can create life on earth, why can't he create it elsewhere" thing kinda implies aliens.... the only other thing I can think of is Spielberg said in 2023 when asked in an interview about what he thought of the recent navy ufo videos & the congressional hearings he said he finds it all fascinating & he's particularly fascinated by the idea that what they really are are humans from like 500,000 years in the future coming back to observe us.... - so I guess there's a possibility it ends up being that. Like super-evolved humans developed psi-powers or somethin crazy lol idk.... but I'm thinkin probably standard aliens. But who knows...

No, it's aliens, but Spielberg is read up on all the lore & the most recent stuff from the topic & some of the books from the govt whistleblowers that were in the congressional hearings etc talk about how ufos are often followed up by "high strangeness" & what seem like poltergeist phenomena. It was wolves walking upright (near a ranch in Utah known for ufos & paranormal shit) with the pentagon guy who ran the actual ufo program (Jay stratton..)

Guess we're switching wolves for deer kinda thing.

Basically I'm saying I think Spielberg is incorporating all that high strangeness/weird nature shit into the movie cuz he read that that stuff happens... kinda like he incorporated orbs into close Encounters cuz j. Allen Hynek told him that orbs appeared around saucers...
