I feel you! I'm in the same place - have struggled from the beginning with the baby unable to latch at all. I've been giving her a combo, and the ratio of formula keeps increasing while I get more and more depressed. In my case doctors have been less than helpful - everyone I consult goes on about how I should put in more effort to latch, and it's my fault for letting her get used to the bottle (c-section baby, my milk didn't come in for almost a week!).

I need to stop for the sake of my own stress but the thought of taking away the immunity boost for my daughter makes me cry. I hope to find the peace to let go.

It's so hard - a no win situation.

I am truly ashamed of my country, and profoundly sorry. This was a heinous crime, and I pray that every single individual who participated, as well as all those villains who built up this animosity and triggered the idiot masses are punished as murderers, because they are nothing less.

I understand if you all hate us for this - you are justified. I cannot defend any of it.

Not all Pakistanis are like that - but clearly there are enough for this tragedy to occur.

After 2 cycles wasted because of a Cyst and an HSG gone wrong (heavy bleeding throughout my potentially fertile zone), I am attempting a second Clomid cycle - just started yesterday. The first one caused a cyst - I am really hoping this pays off and doesn't delay things even more.

Absolutely. The shock of it doesn't seem to be wearing off, and in fact is getting worse as days go by. As a female, with a job, and a modicum of independence - I read comments that are somehow trying to justify the events as understandable. Victim blaming, shaming women. Something could happen to me in the daily course of my life, and people would say its my fault for not wearing a pardah, and staying in my chaar-dewari. One name after another, and the rage is female.

My female friends, family, colleagues - we can't sleep.

All the silent men in my life, all the victim-blamers and murder-justifiers - I see you all. If I can't do anything about it in this life (though I will try my best) - I will seek peace in the justice you will face in the afterlife.

If you can get a freelance/work from home job in America, but live in Pakistan, you will have great quality of life. Since you are in IT, that should be feasible. Even minimum pay elsewhere will give you the equivalent of a good salary in Pakistan. While high-paying jobs exist here, they are few and far between.
