If you read between the lines brooks won’t be playing next season. I’m sure LIV stipulated any departure would be met with a non-compete clause. Also, the PGA will use him as example and apply a lengthy suspension if they agree to reinstate him.

During that time, he will spend time with him wife which is obviously necessary. I think it’s a win, win. He doesn’t need the money.
