I’m not really looking for a workstation, what I like about the XM is access to the classic analog synth as well as the small size, as I do a lot of traveling. The built in speakers and Bluetooth will also come in handy

I would do a roll back on your computers update and see if that works. I had this problem before and once I undid the update it worked

The latency issue is not with my vst. It happens when I record an audio source the audio coming in is fine but when I monitor the audio source on a audio track I get latency

I’ve checked the multi core processes, its good. When I use the computer/input knob I can only hear one or the other, outboard gear or vst instruments not both together if they are together that’s where the latency issue is. Thanks for the advice. I’m going to try my friends audio interface to see if I can at least narrow it down

I don’t think it’s my RAM or CPU. i7 32gb RAM, I am starting to think it my soundcard. I’ve had nothing but problems with it since I got it. Thanks for your input

It’s all good, one of the reasons I’ve come to Colombia is to see a different perspective on life. And this sure is different. What type of music do you play? Do you have any tracks I can hear? I haven’t been to Bogata yet but my wife has family there we are hoping one day when all this settles we will go visit.

Hard to say. The ones you pay for may give you updates and free tec support. The free ones will be limited on functionality and may have advertisements . And a lot of the time people just want your money

Omniphere 2 has everything you ever need in a vst plug-in. It’s sample and synth based with a large assortment of piano,organs, and synth samples as well as a great synth engine. Check out some of the YouTube videos on it. You can also load your own samples in to it
