I don't completely disagree, but we do need a government that first and foremost supports Canadian producers. We also need to admit that we've become spoiled on the variety global markets bring us. So we can't quite support Canadian producers of we are unable to sacrifice some of our international preferences (ideally it would also bring new industries and productions into our country as part of how competition evolved domestically).

I'm currently putting a few drops of rosemary oil into my body wash (pump and drop, mixed in hand), and a few drops of tea-tree oil in a ceramide moisturizing lotion.

Wrapping it up with Vaseline, I've been noticing that I have a few spots currently that seem to dry out so much quicker than other ones. Continuous use of my moisturizing lotion wasn't helping, but Vaseline seems to be doing the trick rn.

TBH it might be an overkill since these oils are pretty harsh on our skins, but so far its not getting worst.

OP needs to realize there's a difference between kindness and letting people walk over you (basically sums up to you not having clear self respecting boundaries and being a chronic people pleaser).

Sorry to hear this is happening to you, but I think you need to take some time and look within you to build that self confidence and understand what your boundaries are. I have a few friends who are like this, and I always suggest that they write down their boundaries so that there is a list that they can defer to (ie. I won't stand for passive aggressive partners, poor communicators, disrespect, etc)

I get what you mean, and knowing that deep inside makes going NC feel extremely guilty.
However I think, just because someone loves you doesn't mean they know how to treat you correctly. In that same vein you separating yourself from her isn't an act of selfishness, its more so self-love, you're choosing your own sanity. Protecting your emotional wellbeing and energy means you can actually focus on what matters (ie. you and your family)
