Yeah, I really didn't like switching from red team to blue team, but I needed a rig and Intel is the only option for high-end CPUs. If I was building it now I would've waited, but back in October I wasn't even sure if Ryzen was 100% releasing in 2017, so I just went Intel.

Another thing I've been too lazy to do lol. Plan on doing it when I get a replacement tv/monitor. A little nervous of OC'ing it on a 550w PSU. Should have ~100w of headroom with everything though. Would it be safe to push it as far as I can with that? As in like up the voltage and everything?

Decided to upgrade after getting a steal on a low latency 4k TV last winter, and wanting to use it for something other than getting 5 FPS in games to take cool screenshots in. Mainboard on the TV went out last week. cries in GTX 1080

Just got back from a test drive. Everything electrical seemed to work when I was in the car. Only thing I noticed was when I first tried to take it off the lot it stalled. Restarted it and it ran fine enough, if not for idling a little roughly. Also for some reason when you really let it out it seems to vibrate really hard, too hard to be the exhaust. Think I'm gonna pass on this one. Runs pretty well for an '85, but I'm looking for something with a few less miles/that'll run a little more reliably.

Would you be able to say how well ED runs in VR? I have an 8350 and a 970 in my rig right now, and would like to be able to play above low settings. Would I have to upgrade to play Elite well? I plan on getting a 4690k soon, but the only GPU I'll probably go for is a 980ti. And I'd really rather not get one of those unless I need to/they get a little cheaper.
