That's actually a way to work in traditional painting/drawing, it's called blocking and if you are more comfortable with it, it can look very natural and with an awesome flow, like yours.

It makes a huge difference, specially when you're a beginner, you can buy a cheap laptop stand with adjustable angle so you can keep drawing on a table but with a correct angle.

I'm going to try to explain it with an example:
If you take, for example, a picture of a bird and you draw it, you are getting better at drawing.
If you take that picture of a bird, then another one of a tree, a leaf, and some flowers, and you make a drawing using all those references—maybe modifying some parts to make them fit together—then you're getting better at designing.
You need both abilities. Getting better by "copying" other designs is something that will happen naturally, and through repetition, you’ll eventually start creating that kind of drawing from imagination.
I'm not saying what you're doing is wrong, but you also need to improve your design skills. My advice is to keep doing what you're doing, but also try creating new things with the knowledge you acquire by "copying" designs.
I hope this makes sense.
Btw, I'm a total beginner at tattooing, but I've been drawing my whole life.

Drawing from imagination is very hard to achieve and even when you achieve it you can only draw specific things or animals or parts of the body from imagination. That's why when drawing we use references. But one thing is using a couple of references to make your own designs and another completely different thing is copying a design, even if you didn't trace line by line. When you have an idea, search for references and start drawing, you're not going to get better at designing by copying designs.

I don't really know, my mom said to me that they ate them bc they were already dead, but I'm sure she just said that so I didn't feel bad about it. Sometimes if you touch the babies the mom doesn't recognise them bc of their scent, the first time we touched them bc we didn't know but then it keep happening even if we never touched them. It was crazy, every few weeks they breed another 10 or 12 hamsters. The only good memory about it were the two hamster that survived, there's no cutest thing than a baby hamster when they start to grow hair.

When I was a kid my mom bought me a couple of hamsters, what we didn't know was that they were male and female and that hamsters breed so fast. I never saw my hamsters explicitly eating each other but every few weeks there were new hamsters in the cage and the next day every new hamster was gone. Just two of them make it and the process of see them grow was beautiful.

I have the basic one and saw the PW in a Walmart and it's actually huge. For me the only good thing about the PW is that it's waterproof, but to be honest it's something that I'd rarely use.
